Question about aging between towns

Hello all, quick question...
I have two different neighborhoods. In one I like to keep aging off, but in the other I like to keep it on. Is this possible? If I'm playing the one that I have aging and story progression on will it affect my other town?
I wouldn't think it would, but it looks like all the towns share the same options you choose. I don't mind turning off aging before playing in my other town, as long as me playing my other town doesn't affect it.

Welcome to the forum!

The only options that are different per save file are seasonal choices.  Otherwise when you turn aging off, it will effect every file you play until you remember to turn it back on.  You have the option to create two separate Sims 3 folders using the factory reset option but that means you would have to remember to switch between the files when you wanted to play one.  It's actually simpler to just remember to turn aging back on before changing to the secondary file but it's your choice.   If you would like to know more information about factory resets, I would be happy to provide links and instructions.   Another thing to know is doing a factory reset means all store content, mods & CC have to be installed again in the new folder.

Could you please spell it out?   When you signed up for the forum, you agreed to the rules and one of them is that we don't use abbreviations.  The reason for this is because we have many members whose native language is not English or text speak so TIA will not be translated for them when they are reading.   Please keep this in mind in the future.
