the sim stucks every time I send it to take a shower

Each time I want my sim to take a shower it stands in front of the shower for hours and nothing happens. The time passes by, the green bars become yellow or even red but nothing happens. I can't force the sim to do anything else and I can't cancel the showering activity. I tried the resetsim code, it helps for that moment, but when I send the sim to take a shower again it happens once again. It's very annoying because "the life" goes on, but the sim doesn't respond. Sometimes the same happens if I want them to go to community lot. Please help

Is it just that one shower that doesn't work? If so have you tried replacing it? If worst comes to worst tell the sim to take a bath until you find a solution to the shower problem.

I replaced the shower and it doesn't help  I'll try with a tub and see what will happen.

Are you sure the shower is accessible from the proper side, i.e. the one with the handle on it?
