Sim with Age Freeze Potion had a birthday?

I have a sim who purchased an Age Freeze Potion and drank it many gameplay sessions ago.  I know I've seen the Days to Aging: Never sign in her panel.  Just now, when her infant son got a notification about his upcoming birthday, she got one, too.  I aged up the baby and that evening, sure enough, she aged from YA to adult.  Now it says she has 45 days until she becomes an elder.  It had said zero days until she became an adult before; the Never status was gone.  She has the Age Freeze Potion in the LTRs she's purchased and it's not available for purchase again.  What gives?

I just had the same thing happen in one of my dynasties.  Do you think it's possible that your Sim at the time might have eaten something with life fruit or done something like that to trigger the aging thing again?

Ricalynn, I'm convinced it must be a bug.  I like to see generations come and go, so I don't keep methods of extending lifespan on hand ever.  I just wanted this particular sim to stop aging, period, while everyone else aged around her.  As of this writing, she's still aging.  It still shows that she's already purchased Age Freeze and cannot purchase it again.  To keep her alive, she gets weekly tattoos now.

Thanks Csquared.  I believe you're right.  I can't think of any reason why she would suddenly start aging but she has.  I'm wondering if letting someone die with the "Age Freeze" in their inventory would give her the ability to use it again.  I won't find out for at least another 11 days.  It's a challenge - I can't kill him
