The mud bath feature of the Steam-It Up Sauna that came with Sunlit Tides will reset your age. That sauna can be placed separately in any world, not just in Sunlit Tides.

I don't believe you can use that for this challenge.  They banned all things that help the moms age last longer.

And it's premium content, so the mud bath is a double-ban.

Precisely. Volcanic Clay Bath is at the spa, and is not a function of banned premium content, so that's not what did any age resets for Antalia's mother-sim.

While slightly more clearheaded, I have checked the days my mother Sim had left on the first day until Adult, and her current days remaining until she's an Elder, against the current game week and day, and her age is correct - it hasn't been reset by anything. That was the flu freaking out amidst the realization I'd done something I'd made a note not to do.

I really thought it was over. I will wait to proceed any further until I'm very sure that the 1500-Simoleon Volcanic Clay Bath option at the Spa is not included in the ban list under "mud baths". Apparently it didn't actually do anything to her age--it just really sounds like a "mud bath" to me.

I finished with a score of 22

4 sims moved out: 4 X 3 = 12
7 sims left 3 attained LTW/rewards: 3 X 2 = 6 and remaining: 4 X 1 = 4

wow that was hard!  :o

You can await official confirmation if you like, but I think everyone has been pretty clear that Volcanic Clay Bath is not the banned mud bath you are worrying about.

    • Anything that has a potential to lengthen the mom’s pre-Elder lifespan — makeovers, eating life fruit, mud baths, drinking life fruit drinks, getting a tattoo, eating Ambrosia, Age Freeze LTR — all are banned for the mom.

Antalia — the above rule covers everything..not just the listed examples. Nothing you can do can extend the mom's life. If there are certain mud baths that do not affect age, then you're good to go.

    Both parents achieved unique LTWs/LTRs4
    6 younguns left in household6
    Total Score109

Congrats to anyone who gets through this challenge - it was a lot of work, and pretty darned crazy at times.

So far, (and finally because my hubby died in game),
17 Sims moved out, 7 Sims remaining in home, 3 with LTW complete and four others, which I believe is 61 total points for the Abraham family. So sorry to see Zorg die...

I think this post was missed as I have not yet made it on the board and others did, so I thought I would add it here again. Thanks

It may also not have been posted yet because you said "I believe," which is a far cry from "the score is."

Ahhh! Having a *real* growth-spurting nooboo to care for on top of everything else hasn't given me much time to play. Definitely don't think I'll finish, but this weekend will be all about this challenge.

    Reporting in with a 'thank god I've finished' score of 63 - (17 YA moved out = 51 , 2 parents + 2 kids with LTR/LTW = 8, 4 little ones).

Now I'm going to go relax...and play something without children! Looking forward to seeing the strategy discussion in a couple of days though :)

I'm running into a minor issue. After patching, the dropped traits bug, which has left me alone for months, is affecting my Baby Boomers. Am I permitted to use testing cheats to replace the trait?
