Using a dresser to plan outfit for the mother in Baby Boomers is now banned!

Using a dresser resets the age of a Sim with the most recent patch.

Ugh, again? Why would they do that? So I guess they're stuck in whatever clothes they've got, unless there's some other way to plan outfits that I don't know about.

I hope its not strategy talk to say I'm really glad now that I created Ms. Bunny Rabbit in pregnancy friendly clothes, lol.

Edited to add: this restriction is only on the mother, since no one else has requirements on age other than those needed to cake up early, correct?

So far, (and finally because my hubby died in game),
17 Sims moved out, 7 Sims remaining in home, 3 with LTW complete and four others, which I believe is 61 total points for the Abraham family. So sorry to see Zorg die...

I think I'm stuck in a glitch & need help please. My mother was teaching her toddler to talk and I got the notification saying that he had learnt the skill but they are both stuck and won't stop or get up or move or anything. Is there anything I can do to get them un-stuck? If not I'll just post my score now because I haven't had much luck with this challenge. I'm definitely looking forward to seeing how people got those huge scores because I have no idea  ;)

What happens when you try to reset them?

I wasn't sure if I was allowed to reset them or not so I thought it better to ask first before I tried.

"Resetsim" is an allowable cheat for all challenges -- you'll find it in the general rules for the Tournament.

Yay I finished booming.

Ma and Pa family had a total of 39 children.
33 moved out so that equals 99
Ma and Pa both completed their LTW and got their unique LTR so that is 4
The remaining six children two sets of triplet babies did a lot of crying and not much else so that is 6.

Total 109

Fantastic score, Rachel! I am planning on getting a serious amount of game time in my BB file today and tomorrow.

Sirius and Cassiopeia completed their task, and for once a few days early.
They loved their kids and where really sad about moving them out so fast, but now the challenge is done they can all enjoy.

So ready for the numbers?

Total of 54 kids where born:
49 moved out: 49 x 3 = 147
3 Living at home with unique LTW and LTR: 3 x 2 = 6
4 More kids are living at home: 4 x 1 = 4

Total: 147 + 6 + 4 = 157

I haven't played in about 3 weeks, and I just returned to my simming today after patching up 1.50. Assuming that this glitch has something to do with that, because my game has run perfectly apart from that (and the rain/building glitch, but I digress...)

6 out of my 8 family members are fine, their queues were cancelled, but that's replaceable. The dad Sim however is stuck -- as is the baby he was trying to become best friends with. I saved an extra copy to play around with, and tried resetting each individual (ie. the baby and the dad), as well as resetSim *. This leads to the dad returning to normal, but no one is able to interact with the baby any longer - whatever snuggle/play I queue up hangs out for about a sim hour and then cancels out of the action queue. (And the facedown lump of baby is giving me the creeps!!)

I really hope someone has a solution to this - if not, I may ask about some rather unorthodox methods of trying to fix it. Thanks for your help!

Edit: I've cleared caches, restarted the computer and the game. I also don't have a previous save(s) of this game (my computer's a little short on storage space) so I really hope this is fixable!

Niana, you say you have a seperate save file apart from your official challenge file, correct? If that is the case go into your unofficial file and see if caking the baby up works. If it does, you can then ask permission to use the same method in your official file. Since you have tried reset sim on dad, baby and world and that didn't work, this is the only possibility I can come up with.

Caking up didn't work, and neither did testingcheatsenabled + trying to age the baby up that way. I let the game run for the full 24h to starve the baby and the social worker wasn't able to take him away. They DID, however, take the twins away that were born during that 24h period (babies 5&6 of the challenge). The glitch is also spreading now - the second kid in the household - now a teen, was stuck without moving for the last 6h, and as always, resetSim and a desperation cakeup attempt didn't work.

I really hope there's a workaround, or maybe a tinyy chance I can start over? Since I'm not even 10 days into the challenge?
