I was so, so hoping to finish up today.  I know how many kids I'll have (though one is not yet born), but I have one child who, with a great deal of luck (which she doesn't seem to have much of) could finish her LTW in the next three days before her mother's birthday.  I've literally been playing all day long, I didn't even shower.  :P  Thank goodness tomorrow is a holiday for me and I'll be able to wrap things up.

After a rough and tumble start plus real life hospitalization I have finally finally completed this challenge! I never ever play large families so wow this was a CHALLENGE!

My score:

Mom and Dad met LTW and LTR requirements : 2 x 2 = 4

Moved out six munchkins:

Apple, Blossom, Brownie, Cherry, Chive, and Cinnamon

6 x 3 = 18

Five at home and one on the way: Dill, Daffodil, Elm, Flora, Fennel (girl), and unborn

Out of those five 2 met LTW and LTR requirements : 2 x 2 = 4
Out of those five 3 did not: 3 x 1 = 3

Total score: 18 + 4 + 4 + 3 = 29

In case I did not grasp the scoring system please double check what I have! Pain meds, and me do not mix well...  ;D

Hey hitch - how did your mom age up to Elder while pregnant?  The challenge is over when the mother turns elder on her birthday not before then.  So you may still have time to continue playing.

Hmmm I will double check....she hasn't aged up yet but I thought it said she only had one day left. Which now I think about it I have never seen a sim go that close to elder with a baby.

Sorry for double posting but am updating and didn't want to get it confused with my previous post. I think the lullaby and try for baby option may have been incorrect. She has aged up to elder and never showed a pregnancy. I had heard a lullaby and she had tried for baby but as no baby or bump appeared and she's aged up to elder I am betting it was a faulty try for baby. I did have three days left though so you were right about that!

So even without the baby I did not manage to finish anyone else's LTW or LTR requirement (and they were all teens at the time so no hope on moving out). So the score should be the same right since I didn't count the unborn child anyways?

Woohoo, I'm done at last!  Now I can take a shower.

Since this was 2013, I went with the 13th letter of the alphabet, M.  One tip I'll share right now: the names were extraordinarily confusing and I'll never name them the same way (off a popular baby names list) ever again.  Seriously, when twins Mariah and Mary arrived on the heels of Maria, I thought I was going to give up right there, but having named half the kids that way, I wanted to keep it going.  Also, unlike every other large family I've ever played, almost all the children inherited Mom or Dad's hair and were therefore a little hard to tell apart.  I took two sims from the bin to play with and altered no one's appearance so I could focus just on the challenge instead.  They really need name tags . . . tattooed on their foreheads.

Manny and Millie Ann Moore had 19 children.

Madison, Mia, Makayla, Maya, Mackenzie, Morgan, Molly, Madelyn, Melanie, Maria, Mariah, Mary and Michelle completed all that was set to them and moved out.  That's 13.  13 x 3 = 39

Manny, Millie Ann and daughter Megan completed their unique lifetime wishes but remained at home.  3 x 2 = 6

Mila, Maci, Melissa, Margaret and Miranda remained at home, but did not complete their lifetime wishes.  5 x 1 = 5

So . . 39 + 6 + 5 = 50

I learned SO much.  For every challenging part of this, I found an easier way than I'd known before, most of them in the very beginning.  One tactic I didn't learn until near the end and only a couple of kids benefited from it.  I definitely missed out on at least one very easy lifetime wish and came close, oh, so close to finishing it!  I suspect I know how those really tall scores were achieved and it's a strategy I would not even have considered at the beginning, thinking it was too much trouble.  I may have been wrong.  ;)

What's really interesting is that right before Metro announced this challenge, I replayed 2011's Baby Boomer just for fun.  The goals were wayyyy lower, and yet, I only managed 17 kids there.  With higher goals, I actually did better, and if I were to replay the whole thing, I'm confident I could hit at least 30 kids.

Now to play a nice, easy, small family.  And shower.

I am finally finished!  I did not do as well as I had hoped on this challenge. By the time I had figured some things out it was already too close to Mom's elder stage to make up for lost time.  Can't wait to see how some of you got your high scores!
Reilly and Susanna Bailey had only 9 children: Levi, Lila, Linc, Lucian, Lola, Liev, Lance, Lathan and Lacy.
5 moved out:  15 points
3 remaining at home and complete YA reqs:  6 points
3 at home that did not meet YA reqs: 3 points

Total: 24 points

Wow, that was hard work. Phew.

20 children moved out: 20 x 3 = 60
2 remaining house members completed LTW etc.: 2 x 2 = 4
3 remaining household members didn't complete LTW etc.: 3 x 1 = 3

60 + 4 + 3 = 67
[they/them pronouns please]

Ugh, mom just aged up to adult. I've moved out 10 so far and just had that "aha!" moment that would have doubled the number I've moved out so far. So, now I'm on track for about 30 total if my game stops crashing. Maybe the new patch will help.

Unfortunately, when I tried to patch to 1.50, my game died and took some of my save files with it.  My Baby Boomer challenge file was one of them, and even though the game is working again after a reinstall, I am unable to continue the challenge.  Thus I am posting my final score of...

(drumroll)

five.

Yes, I know.  I was absolutely terrible at this challenge.

Moved Out Sims: Nobody!
LTR+LTW Sims: Nobody!
Others: P.S. Duckie (father), Allison Duckie (mother), Samuel Duckie, Sarah Duckie, Samantha Duckie

Better hurry up with this one, Mom has only just aged up to adult. Can't believe I still have 45 sim days of this to go!

Pleased to post my finishing score.  Adam and Eve Eden (2)  gave the boot to 15 offspring, attained their own LTW and unique LTR, with 6 children remaining in the household.  They are exhausted.   :o

15 X 3 = 45
2 x 2 = 4
6 x 1 = 6
45 + 4 + 6 = 55 total score.

I never had any 'aha moments' in this challenge, so I am looking forward to learning something new when the final results and strategies are revealed.

Just finished testing and ready to go for real. But I have two questions:
1. If mum becomes elder and some children complete LTW after her birthday, but before the day is over, does it count or not?
2. What is the exact deadline hour for me living in the UK?
Thank you :)

1.  At the moment Mom turns Elder the game is over.

2.  11:59 PM on March 3
