I was wrong, there are a couple empty houses.

But saving, quitting, and restarting computer and game solved it.

I'm just annoyed at the loss of 12 sim hours.

Aww man, that sucks :( You must be doing really well though, if you have 22 kids already kicked out! Going to be fun to see everyone's strategies for sure!

Well, now I'm done.

Frank and Ann Gilbreth (cheaper by the dozen) had 30 kids.

24 moved out x3 = 72
2 with ltw/ltr compl X2 = 4 (mom & dad)
6 left x1 = 6

Total = 82

And I made a bunch of mistakes; I totally get the concept of having ~50 kids if you have all expansions (and thus more LTWs).

Adam and Eve Eden did their best to populate their little world!  But, sadly no grandchildren.

18 children moved out  x 3 = 54
6 children still at home  x 1 =   6
Parents achieved LTW and LRT  x  2 =  4

Total   64

No way - my couple are also named Adam and Eve Eden!   :o  For a minute I wondered if I had finished and posted a score in my sleep.  I thought I was being so original too!!

LOL

I had a similar fire thing happen while playing the apocalypse challenge.  My son, 10, was watching and, after four of my sims had already died, asked if I could buy Fireproof Homestead.  It worked.  The fire will need to be put out but then it won't restart again.

I just finished with a score of 39.

8 children moved out, 7 sims at home with LTW and LTR complete, and 1 newborn

Alas, Gaea and Uranus Olympus weren't able to create a new pantheon. :c
14 children moved out, so 14 x 3 = 42
5 children were still living with them and achieved their LTW and bought their LTR, so 5 x 2 = 10
Finally, there was 1 lonely baby, which is 1 point.
In all, that's 53 points.

Posidem, if the parents achieved their LTWs and bought a unique LTR each, then you can count 2 points for them as well.

I am ridiculously excited to see that Offspring No. 16 has actually found himself a romantic partner ... it's so nice to see a deviation in the family tree.

I'm severely agog at the high numbers in the charts. I've always thought of myself as a micro-manager to a fault, but this is bizarre!

I hear you - I have the noises that the Sim parents make for snuggle and play with stuck in my head...

I'm so happy that I've finished my 4th Baby Boomer challenge!  Metro, you've got quite a talent for making my favorite challenge exquisitely hard.  I mean that in a good way.  :)

Taffy and Noe Dreamweaver had a total of 14 children named First, Second, Third, Fourth, etc.  I will be uploading them to the Swap Shop if anyone is interested.

Eight moved out:                           24 points
Six still at home (infant to teen)      6 points
Parents completed YA req.              4 points

Grand total                                    34 points

Not as good as I had hoped, but not as bad as I feared when I first started the challenge and went into a panic over how hard it was!  Thank you Metro and team for such great fun!  ;D

Well done, Pam! I'd love to see some of the kids  :D
I was just about to submit a pitiful score... but I think I'll carry on! I can do it!
