I thought about a story but I was in a challenge mindset and there is no way my file would have made for a good story.   "Ok I've birthed you.  Here's your list of stuff then get out!"

I used to hate playing families, but I'm having a blast with this after what I've learned from the handiness challenge and other forum posts. Wow, was I doing things the hard way. I still have no idea how y'all are getting 30+ sims moved out, though! I cannot wait for the discussion on this one.

My game is glitched beyond belief.  I'm trying to get my sims to Try for Baby, but the option is simply unavailable.  The WooHoo option is unavailable also.  I even tried to use the option on the objects themselves, and it said "You need a potential lover on the lot."  They are both on the home lot, and I tried taking the father off and back on the lot.

This started after the first offspring sim was born.

I'd like permission to do a full restart of my scoring file; I feel that's the only way to get rid of the glitches.

Clear your caches, restart the whole computer and make sure both Sims are actually awake and not in the middle of an action.  PM me once you've done this.

Attempted my first challenge! I only had the Ambitions EP, so I can't wait to hear tips on how to improve the score. I'm curious what options are available on other EPs and those on Ambitions I probably didn't use properly...  ;)

14 children moved out x 3= 42
6 children left in house w/o LTW fulfilled x 1 =6
2 parents w/LTW and unique LTR x 2 = 4
Total score of 42.

Loved it!!!

Wait, shouldn't your score be 52? ???

If a Young Adult completes a unique LTW and purchases 1 unique LTR, they can be moved out.

I don't know if this has been asked already, but is it ok if my reaches his LTW before becoming a Young Adult?

You can reach the LTW whenever it is possible for the sim. They just cant moveout before its reached and they bought a unique LTR

The only thing remotely exciting that has happened in my challenge file so far was an alien pregnancy.Which just messed up my game plan a little.
The rest of it is like Rica..nooboo,child,teen,young adult now get out. Lather rinse repeat.

Question about collections challenge for the 'child' age. Am I correct in thinking that we select a challenge from the 'collection' book? It's located to the left of inventory? I think.

There's a gem collection (find 10 diff. gems) , metal (find 5 diff. metals), butterfly, etc...

Or is it the collection opportunity where they're tasked with finding beetles, lady bugs, etc for school?

In the words of Bob Barker, "Please, spay and neuter your pets."

It's from the collection journal and not the Scavenger Hunt op from the school.

Your total = 42 + 6 + 4 = 52

Just to add what Rica said about moving out, there is not only the part mentioned in the YA Life Stage requirement about moving out, but this is a whole separate rule at the top:

    • Household members can only move out upon reaching Young Adult stage and completing the YA life stage goals listed below

So they can't move out until they are YA and completed their LTW/LTR correct? Or can they move out before YA as long as LTW/LTR are complete?
You can reach the LTW whenever it is possible for the sim. They just cant moveout before its reached and they bought a unique LTR

I'm confused now even though I've finished this challenge.  I'm playing it again to see if I can beat my old score unofficially of course.[/list]

They have to be in the young adult stage to move out but you can complete the ltw and purchase the ltr before the young adult stage.
