Hi,

I have looked at this forum many times with admiration for you all.  Now I'm almost ready for actually taking part. Really scary! I'm practising tonight and then I shall start tomorrow.

It will be earlier if it's a snow day tomorrow, later if I go to work.  I have registered with the forum, is there anything else I need to do to start?

Sorry for asking silly questions, please bear with me and good luck to everybody.

Welcome to the forum junegem! All you need to do is post your score when you're done, no sign-ups or anything else required. :)

Good luck with the challenge - I just started yesterday and I can already tell this one is going to be seriously bananas, LOL.

Hi! I intended to attempt BBIII a year ago... but, um, here I am. :) Looks like fun, with a side of insanity. Trying to decide if I should attempt a practice run first, but with a real life newbie, that would probably be pushing my luck.

I don't remember if this was ruled on--can Sims be kicked out or only moved out?

Hey again

This is probably a strange question but I really am not sure what something means. When it says a "unique" romantic interest or an "unique" life time wish and reward. What exactly is "unique"?

Thanks

It means that romantic interest can't be shared with any of that sim's siblings, in this case.  If Joe has Sally for a romantic interest, no other sim in your challenge may count Sally as their romantic interest.

For lifetime wishes, if Joe has as his wish to have a Perfect Garden, none of his siblings nor his parents can have that wish, if you want their lifetime wishes to count.

No one can share the same interest, LTW, or LTR. It is unique to each sim. No one else can have the same one.

Suddenly another question, I think I saw someone else post something on this but it didn't really make sense. The collecting challenge for children - what exactly is that and how do you get it? As far as I understood, it had something to do with the collecting skill...?

Thank you to everyone for patiently answering all my questions when the answers are probably right in front of my face.

It's related to the collection journal, which isn't really a skill. It's stuff like collect 10 different gems, collect all types of butterflies, etc.

It's accessible in the inventory tab.

To add to what Trip has said, under the inventory tab, next to the cell phone icon there is a small green notebook.  Inside that you'll find the different collection challenges described.

Just kicked out my first YA, 5 teens to go and mom's pregnant again. AAH I'm not sure if I'm up to repeating this all over again probably another four times (I'm halfway through week 3...)
