If she's alive, then keep going.  If she died then it would have been game over, time to turn in your score.

Doesn't a sim's life reset to the beginning of that life stage when the grim comes and you give him the death flower?

It's been awhile since I had to use a deathflower, but if memory serves, then yes it does.

I tested this in a game where I killed a Sim with a jelly bean.  She had a death flower and literally returned the same age she was.

It seems that it only resets as an elder.  Feel free to test it for yourself and tell me if my game was wrong somehow.

Can I just say how excited I am to do this challenge? I'm trying a test run right now and I'm bouncing off of the walls from eagerness. I didn't even know other people loved the Sims as much as I did.

Oh good :) Otherwise there could have been an infinite age exploit :D

7 days in, one child, one toddler and two babies - and I'm about to go insane! I knew there was a reason I either played with cheats for kids or just stuck to a couple of YA...

Pam, I have newfound respect for your obsession with the little ones :)

Gave it a quick test - the death flower resetting the life phase occurs only for elders dying of old age; not elders from other causes and not YA/Adults from other causes too. So no worries, no infinite aging exploits from it.

I've gone for a Simpsons naming theme. They are all named after Simpsons characters (not just the actual Simpson family). I've got Marge and Homer as my starting couple and they are great parents. Newest arrivals: Ned and Maude :P

Well, wish me luck :D  Starting my scoring file.  I hope I don't kill my sim like I did the handyman challenge.  Good luck to all of you as well.

I'm so excited to start this! I've read, and reread the rules, and made an account here specially for it.

I LOVE huge families. I'm strange.

(:

Hey

Are you allowed to use the fertility treatment? Also, does the general rule that your sim has a long (bars at half-way) life apply?

One more quick question: are we allowed to use motherlode to give them some cash?

Thanks everyone

Kitty, yes, you can use the fertility treatment, and the lifespan should be set to long.

With regard to motherlode, all cheats are forbidden, including that one.
