Baby Boomer IV: Family Tree Explosion

Quick question. I just got the new nursery set from the store and it has two new items that I am curious about whether or not they are banned. I know that the baby swing that was already available in the store is banned because it fulfills all of baby's needs. This new set has a baby monitor and a changing station. I'm pretty sure the changing station is okay because it sounds like it just does the same thing that clicking the baby and selecting change diaper will do. However the baby monitor may toe the line; in the description it says that it informs you of baby's needs, which you could find out just by clicking on the baby and looking at all their bars. Would both or either of these items be allowed? I have started my save game and don't want to put any items in that might disqualify me! Thanks!

All premium content is banned so yes those two new items are banned.

I'm new here - Joined mainly because I want to do this challenge! I'm dying to start, I've read the rules about 15 times... My problem is that I'm sure my game is not fully patched. I posted this in Technical Help, so as soon as I can patch it I'll join all you Baby Boomers!

I just joined and am really looking forward to this challenge.  I've read over both sets of rules and just want to ask, when I finish practice and am ready to begin my challenge file do I state that somewhere or just calculate and post my score upon completion?  Thanks for bringing new life to my favorite game!

You do not need to announce it, just calculate and post your score upon completion. Be prepared to explain your strategy (in the event you are the winner, of course

This sounds like major fun! May I ask if an IF can count towards a teen's unique romantic interest?

An Imaginary Friend cannot interact romantically with a Sim unless made real, which breaks the "only offspring can join the household" rule, so no.
