Certainly! Read the Tournament General Rules here, and the Forum Rules, and feel free to ask questions that don't involve strategy.

Do the parents have to purchase a unique LTR each to get the two points at the end or just complete their LTWs?

For two: Age staggering. For a challenge that ends when your female becomes Elder, the age staggering can do a lovely job of shooting you in the foot. For one, my practice family has started with the man 44 days from aging up, where the woman is at 37. That cuts a full -week- off of time I can be using to play the challenge. In this case would it be acceptable to use a mod to stop age staggering so everyone is on the same footing? If not, is it just a crapshoot that some people get the full 90 days to play, while others may only get 83 or less?
How does the age staggering work?  Is it based off the town you choose or the order in which you make the sim.  Or is it a random thing that can change each time you make a sim?  I noticed that the girl age started at 37 but I thought that was the youngest age she could start at. Is there a younger adult age?

On Long lifespan, I've seen them start with as much as 44-45 days.  It is random.  I've never heard of a reliable way to control it.

I think age staggering is just one of those things that makes a challenge a challenge. Sometimes you get lucky, sometimes you don't.

Why didn't I think of that, seems so obvious now. She had triplets, at the hospital alone in the end, and then criminal dad went and got himself arrested that night at work so she's stuck alone with four screaming babies, so glad this is just a practice as i've made so many silly judgement errors already.

EDIT: Got an odd aging bug with my triplets, the middle born one is suddenly a day older, I was too hassled to get the babies aged up early, I know that now it's announced his birthday he'll age up anyway but does this happen often? and does it really matter as it's not me aging him too early but the game?

Wow, I just felt like doing a baby challenge and had almost started the babyboomer or the 100 baby challenge for myself, when I saw this! Yay, what a wonderful coincidence!
So I am gonna try this one too, just have a question.

I would love to play in UC, just because I think that's a great world (no strategy here ;)). But since the last update, the lot with the Coffee House (Little Samoth Diner) has been changed back to just the snackbar. There is no stage on it anymore :(.
Fortunately I have the Coffee House from the previous version in my library. Am I allowed to switch them? I ask this because I assume that the latest version of UC was ment to have the Coffee House.

Also, there is no Vault of Antiquity, forgotten I think? Anushka thought it would probably be allowed in a challenge to add this to the Cemetery. Can we, please?
Problem? Don't panic! There is always a solution. You just have to find it  :D

If you want to add the vault of antiquity, you would need to buy the cemetery and add it in my opinion or save the lot that it's on in Moonlight Falls and then place it that way.   As for the diner, I would take that up as an issue on one of the UC threads.   You are not allowed to replace lots as per the challenge rules.  So you wouldn't be able to replace it with a prior version because that is against the challenge rules.

It can happen with triplets. I've seen it a lot in my games.  It's just something the game did and it's not really a problem.  Just something you need to deal with as a possibility.

Thanks for your answer.

As for the diner, I would take that up as an issue on one of the UC threads.

I already did that 2 days ago here, but I haven't gotten an answer on that yet. Feel free to do so :)

Quick question. I just got the new nursery set from the store and it has two new items that I am curious about whether or not they are banned. I know that the baby swing that was already available in the store is banned because it fulfills all of baby's needs. This new set has a baby monitor and a changing station. I'm pretty sure the changing station is okay because it sounds like it just does the same thing that clicking the baby and selecting change diaper will do. However the baby monitor may toe the line; in the description it says that it informs you of baby's needs, which you could find out just by clicking on the baby and looking at all their bars. Would both or either of these items be allowed? I have started my save game and don't want to put any items in that might disqualify me! Thanks!
