This will be up to Metro / Rica / Rachel -- maybe they will let you use the LTR the 2nd time once you use up every single one (all unique), that way your game won't end prematurely.  That's a maybe, not up to me  

How many LTR do you have currently in your game?

I see your point.  However, my major question is simply that, if you can get this going well, your game might have to end prematurely simply because there are no more unique LTR's available, this would, for me, be very frustrating.  Still, I probably would not get to the 20 plus household members anyway.  But, if I did.......?  That's my problem, I do like to finish what I start if you know what I mean.

I don't mind losing.  If I were to enter the London Marathon, I would expect to come in Last, or close to it.  But, if someone came up to me just as the finishing line came into view, and said "Right you, you're not allowed to go any further" I would be really miffed!

There's really no winning or losing in these challenges.  It's a string of scores from highest to lowest.  The lowest score doesn't lose the challenge.  It's just the lowest score on the board and will be used to calculate the World Ranking.  You wouldn't be required to stop the challenge if you ran into this problem.  You would just have a lower score to submit for the leaderboard.  As the others have said, it's great to play the challenges even if you don't come in first place.  I'm a prime example of one who plays and knows full well that I'll be in the bottom quarter of the leaderboard.  Or even dead last.  I thought I was an excellent player until Metro started these challenges.

You know...looking a little more carefully at what Wai is saying about running out of LTRs...hmmmm...there's really no reason not to make it 1 unique LTR intead of 2. Rica/ratchie -- if you guys agree, then feel free to make the rule edit. Or I can do it in a few hours when I get home.

I hope everyone had an awesome Christmas. I am crossing my fingers that our tires will not explode from the extra weight in the back of our minvan thanks to my mom's unique intepretation of "moderation" for her 3 granddaughters.

I am starting my practice rounds and I have a question.  How many LTR are sims allowed to purchase?  Is there a restriction or is it okay as long as they have 2 unique ones a piece?

Of course I have another question.  I just thought of it as my screen was loading.  Sometimes your kids are giving a toy that turns into an imaginary friend.  They can be asked to clean up the house.  Are they allowed?

First off, Hi and Welcome to the Forums! You are currently a NooBoo because that's what all baby Sims start out as. Since you have fewer than 50 posts you are considered a Forum NooBoo, just starting out here. You can find all sorts of useful information regarding the forums in the Announcements and Rules Board and the General Discussion Board.

Second, if you post a reply to a thread and then think of something else you want to say (and there aren't a gazzillion posts after you, because then it might be missed),  try using the "modify" option at the top of your post. This way you can add the new questions/comments to the single post and it helps keep the forum easy to read. I like to use it because it lets me pretend that I am not nearly as scatterbrained as I actually am, lol.

To answer these questions, you can purchase multiple LTR's for your Sims, but at least 1 of them have to be unique to that Sim. Metro changed the rule from 2 LTR's to 1 in an earlier post and hasn't yet had the chance to edit the rules. Keep in mind the total number of LTR's you have in your game, so that you don't accidentally run out of ones that can be unique.

As long as you do not make the IF (imaginary friend) real using them to clean the house should not be an issue. (Just my opinion, the final say is up to Metro, Rica and ratchie.) Making them real would add them to the household and only the children born directly to the founding couple can be added to the household. You are allowed to hire a maid, since they do not interact with the children the way Bonehilda and butlers do.

I just amended the Child stage requirements -- the Mushroom collection does not count towards the collection requirement.

How can you tell if your toddler has leveled up in a skill? When you look at the skills levels it says they are too young to have skills.  I have been having the toddler play with the music toys and learning toys but I'm not sure what level they are on.

The toddler will have a blue skill bar above their head if they are skilling up - if they've maxed the skill, there won't be a bar. You'll also get a notification that they've learned all they can, but will still have fun playing with it.

With both the pegboard and xylophone you can see the blue progress bar above their heads as they're gaining the skill.  When they've reached level 3 (the top) you'll get a pop-up message saying they've learned all they can or something like that, and the progress bar will disappear.

With the toddler books, the toddler just has to read all three of the series, and they gain a skill point per book.

For the scoring is the members in the household and members in the household that have completed their LTW only for the children or does that include the parents?
