Just clarifying something here - we can move YAs out once they've achieved their LTW and purchased their two LTR, right? But there's a scoring option for sims still living at home who have fulfilled these two criteria. So is this scoring criteria pretty much aimed at children or teens who have completed their LTW and gotten their LTRs already but haven't yet completed the child or teen requirements for aging up?

Well, basically I was thinking when the time runs out for everyone you'll have a) everyone that has been kicked out, and b) everyone else that's left in the house, so I tried to come up with a way to score who is left in the house. If something could be improved or make more sense I would be open to suggestions.

What if Dad gets abducted and implanted?   ;)  Would that baby count towards the family or should Dad just return the alien child upon birth... or do they have to stay and take up space but we don't get to count them??

As funny as that may be, it is too bizarre to wrap my head around that and just does not fit in with the original thinking of what Baby Boomer is all about. It's all about the mom bringing kids into the house. So, yeah, the dad would have to return the child upon birth.

@Rica/Rachel -- what are your thoughts?

In my opinion it is all about the couple having children together and only children born to both parents should count. It would be like the dad going off and having children with the neighbour lady and then bringing them into the family.

I agree completely with Rachel.  Alien babies should be returned to prober.

The child might still show up on the Dad's kid list so remember that and only use the mom's to count the children of the couple

Does the child's life state matter? :)

If we only care about the mom then it doesn't matter what the kids are.  I have deleted half your post due to possibly strategy talk.

Also: Minor rule tweak -- Your two Sims have to be married when they leave CAS.  Make sure to set up the relationship as spouse prior to placement in your town.

Would it be worth changing 'No adoption' to 'No adoption or cloning', since a clone is also only the child of one parent?

Well, you already have the rule that only offspring can be added to the household and clones are not offspring in the strict sense. But, I will add that just in case others are wondering.

only offspring can be added to the household.

Does this also mean no pets, or is this rule only referring to humanoids?

Yes it means no pets. Anything that adds to a slot is adding to the household and that includes pets.

Do we kick out or move out the children?

I'd go with kick out, as they'll still show up in the relationship panel. Moving out requires that you buy them a house, which can get expensive over time. Of course, if Metro, Rica, and Rachel want to make this more challenging, they could add the requirement that you buy them a house...
