I am game for this. I practiced a bit on one of the previous challenges. :D I think the Young Adult stage is going to be the hardest for me..

Edit: Also, quick question: Are we allowed to turn the weather off for these challenges? I normally keep the seasons going, but turn off hail/rain/snow. I was wondering if it would be up to the player like Lunar phases, etc. (Dumb zombies!)

Remember the General Tournament rule on Premium Content:

Premium Content
If any Premium Content item from the Sims Store gives you an unfair advantage, such as a bed providing less needed sleep, an object that allows your Sims to skill faster, or a baby swing that will fulfill a baby's needs, then consider it banned. Always ask yourself “Would using this item give me an advantage for this challenge?” If everyone had all the same PC items then it would be different, but not everyone wants to pay extra money for those special items. If you’re in doubt, then PM the team.

One of the skill challenges associated with the collecting tab in the skill journal.  It might also be in the collection journal now too I just can't remember.

Examples: 10 types of gems, Every butterfly, space rocks, etc.

I read it to be one of the opportunities kids get from the science center (eg: collect 2 metals and 2 gemstones).

so its in the collection journal instead?

The opportunities are random and usually come on the day before a child's birthday - we were specifically talking about the skill challenges that you will find under the collecting skill page or under collection statistics.

Insane.

I'm so glad I found the challenges here - they're brilliantly horrendous. No idea whether I'll even finish this one, but gleeeee!... Roll on January?

Brilliantly horrendous.  What an absolutely perfect way to describe Metro's challenges!  ;D

I'm just wondering, why can't the mom be a fairy?

Because fairies have a longer life span. The idea is that we all have the exact same amount of days to push out as many kids as possible.

But Dad could be a fairy right?  its just the mothers age that matters?

Slight rule modification: The Teen now needs to have their romantic interest "unique" (no sharing) in order to cake them up early.

Just clarifying something here - we can move YAs out once they've achieved their LTW and purchased their two LTR, right? But there's a scoring option for sims still living at home who have fulfilled these two criteria. So is this scoring criteria pretty much aimed at children or teens who have completed their LTW and gotten their LTRs already but haven't yet completed the child or teen requirements for aging up?

This challenge sounds like pure insanity :D. I'll have to try it.

It could refer to a teen, but I think the 2-point option is mainly for the parents.
