Congratulations Lena, and thanks for sharing.

Two questions if I may
1) Was there a strategy for choosing Become a Master Thief as dad's LTW?
2) Why doesn't age of instant potion get used for teens as well as for children?

Thanks

I can answer the age of instant thing as for why I only did it for children.   Age of Instant potions are rare in the elixir shop and they are hard to make as the exact ingredients include one of the rarer butterflies.  Plus the reason to use the age of instant for children is because they were done within the first day and you couldn't use another cake.   By the time a teen is done their requirements you could use a cake and that's easier to get your hands on.

Have been having a bit hard time writing lastly but now my text is finished.

I’m so excited, the first challenge in metros tournaments I won was a baby boomers, I have won one as a shared first place in between, but winning another baby boomer makes me proud...

Indeed you should be...oh my gosh...yeah I can't believe it's almost been 3 years can you?

1) Simply, it was a LTW i didnt want to do on the kids, but in a 13+ weeks game its easy manageable even though you dont really focus on it.
2) Basicly what Ricalynn said.

I know this event is over and everything but I'd still like to try it on my for the hell of it.... When you say "attained a LTW" do you mean they chose it or completed it?

Completed it. I'm going to do it too, I think. My game stopped working before I could finish. I think I'll look over the strategy and try it myself from the beginning.

Welcome to the forum glassdahl.  It's often fun to try the challenges even after they are finished. It often gets you playing in ways you would not normally consider. Attained a LTW means they have to complete it.

It doesnt seem possible for a young adult to complete their LTW quick enough to be kicked out, but I'll give it a shot. I just made a new family and am giving it shot.

I know from previous forms of this challenge the mom couldn't work outside of the home, can she do other jobs/professions like writing that don't require her to leave the home? and how about selling her crops from the garden?

Welcome glassdahl!

There was no restriction this time around.  The mom can do whatever you want to make money.

Thank you! OMG! My little new family has gone crazy. Only 5 kids and Mrs. Cornell Little is freaking out. She just had triplet girls. I LOVE (sarcasm) how the daddy gets time off right as the babies are born and then the family instantly goes broke. The family was down to 1 simoleon.

Oh the joy of having a brand new child in the household. A boy, named Bacon, Bacon Little. Momma wants to snuggle Bacon. *snickers*

I have only the base game and Pets expansion. ...
score (64),
  • A parent with the Friendly trait doesn't make friends faster than a parent without it,
  • With a test baby, a non-Charismatic (trait) mother could ...  Best Friends in 70 minutes. ... "Play With" instead brought them to Best Friends in 149 minutes. ...
"Play With" builds the parent's Fun bar and Snuggle doesn't,
  • If the mother was Charismatic (trait), then ... 55 minutes--fifteen minutes faster than a non-Charismatic mother.
Really interesting Antalia - Thank you for your well-researched and informative post.
Having Sims 3 (Base Game) and Pets. Being a newbie and planning a first-grandchild, your experience is really going to be put to good use !

I had the parents tutor to fix the kid's grades right before the cake-up. Amazingly they could turn a bottomed-out "F" grade into an A in part of a day.
Cool - It would be nice if my soon-to-be daughter-in-law spends time home-schooling the first grand-child.

Sitting the camera outside the school at 2pm enables one to see who the current crop of teenagers available for romantic interests are. This was a breakthrough near the end, and much faster than how I was doing it before (which was having the kids slowly "Meet New Friends" while at school.)

...
realized about moveObjects on.

use (teleporter) to dial it on my mobile phone to return home. What a timesaver!
- Will not take up space thanking you for each nicely-detailed tip. Suffice to say:
Appreciated (Am bookmarking your post :D)

The first comment from ssaff seems to only address Antalia's post on the page before.
