Another question... My baby isn't the best friend of her parents no matter what I do. I had to turn off aging to prevent her from turning into a toddler. However, the relationship is really taking its time, no matter how much attention I give her; and the mom is obviously not aging.

What should I do?

Kitty, you can't turn aging off. The requirements are for aging up early -- if you don't meet them, then the infant will just age up on its own. Ditto for toddler, child, and teen.

Oh, shoot. I didn't know that. Do I have to start again and just make that a practice run?

Before I got the woman the Life Time Reward Inheritance, I saved the family to the bin. Should I go ahead and replace the family now with the family then? I didn't have the aging on then.

Turning off aging because of the difficulty you were having is something that would normally disqualify you. I will allow you one free pass and give you the benefit of the doubt that you did not know this. As to your question, I am sorry. That is something you will simply need to deal with on your own or seek an answer elsewhere, but not in this thread.

If you would like to attempt this challenge again I am asking you to start over because you turned off aging. Thanks.

I definitely am. It's hard to break away from Rift and Diablo but I am promising everyone I will toss my hat in every single challenge this year. First I need to have Stop Hammertime finish the Handyman one.

By the time Momma's elder birthday came around, only six of the households in Sunset Valley weren't one of her children!

32 kids moved out x 3 = 96
2 parents with unique LTW/LTR x 2 = 4
5 kids who couldn't get out in time x 1 = 5

Total = 105

Good luck to those who try the challenge!  That was the most micromanaging I've ever done in all my hours playing Sims 3.  I think I'll go try a "Hands Off, No Clicking, Max Speed" game now.   :D

Wow 32 kids moved out, I struggled to get 6 moved out, I'm going to be very interested when this is over to see how people manage it, I can see there is still a lot of things I don't know despite playing sims for years, just getting to those six I learned at least four things I didn't know before.

Well done Vinyl  ;D

Question: what is banned at the spa?  So far I have not sent the mother to the spa at all, but she'd really like a bit of relaxation there.  I'm OK with not sending her there, but if there are things allowed vs things banned it'd be nice to the poor girl after a bunch of kids.

Far as I'm aware, just the tattoo, as it has the potential to extend her life stage. I've never seen any of the other services do that.

You get tattoos at the salon, not the spa. I don't think anything is banned at the spa.

The option for a tattoo does exist for the spa.  I've used it before for other sims, but it didn't result in any age change.  That said, I'd still avoid that to be sure.  I do massages and manis and pedis all the time for my pregnant sims with no change that would make them disallowed for this challenge.
