Everybody congrats on finishing!

I am done practicing (I think ;)) so I am almost ready to start my scoring file. (yay!)

Before I do, I have a question. Unfortunately UC didn't work for me because the save files just got too big, so I am gonna play in another world. With many EA worlds, lots from EP's are randomly placed in the world. They are often on plots that are way too big (so that's a waste) and turned completely the wrong way. If I choose one of those worlds, am I allowed to do something about that? Just like we are in the Dynasty Challenges for instance? (switch them with others in the world for better use of the sizes / turn them around / delete those which didn't came standard with the world)

Just checking in advance. Hope you don't mind me asking! :)

It says in the General rules that you can't, sorry.   Auto placed lots have to remain as they are.  Dynasties are lax compared to challenges.  Just remember you can't use any of the store worlds and none of the premium content.    I'm glad you asked.  Never fear asking us questions, it's better to know than to guess.

Thanks for your quick reply, Rica! :)
And for the reminder of the store worlds. Didn't realize that (probably forgot about that straight after picking UC ;))
Problem? Don't panic! There is always a solution. You just have to find it  :D

Hmm, this was very challenging in terms of patience. Four weeks and 18 painful vacation days after beginning his pursuit of handiness, Cole Wrench is done, and will probably never look at a screwdriver or hammer the same way again.

Objects Upgraded: 1,907
Unique Upgrades: 94%

Multiplying 1907 * .94 = 1792.58
Final Score: 1792

Now to struggle with the Baby Boomers, which is probably my Achilles' heel in terms of challenges.

Great score Drift.  I wondered how long it would take one of you to come knock me down.

Wow some excellent scores there!

Miranda Strudel (I'm not so good at punny names as the rest of you  ;)) has just finished with 1731 upgrades and 90% unique giving a score of 1557.

Thanks! It's... tedious, this one, with all the clicking.

Finished.  2131 X .94 = 2003
Heh congrats! I figured it wouldn't be long before you and/or Chuckles beat my score as I made a strategic error; I know what I would've done differently in a new run, but of course there's the 1-attempt-rule.

Yep, that's a solid score too, congrats!

All I can say is this challenge is painful, tedious, and mind numbing.  Now baby boomers, yes!  I'm with Pam, looooove babies in sims3.  Let's see how many fruits i can find alphabetically!

Now to try the Boomers.

Hi all,

I have been trying these challenges for a while on my own after they were finished and am pleased to be able to join this one while it is still going. I had a lot of fun with this challenge and learned a few new trics.

Objects Upgraded: 1418
Percent of Unique Upgrades Completed: 90%

Total score: 1276

This was my first time trying one of these challenges.  Unfortunately my Sim Tim Taylor (Home Improvement - obviously appropriately  named, lol)  died from electrocution on Week 3, day 3 while upgrading his washing machine.  So, I got a pitiful score of
14 objects @ 14% for 14 x .14 = 1.96 for a score for a score of 1.  But I would still like it on the leader board since this is my first time doing one of the  challenges. I just saw that we can't re-try the same challenge, which does make sense so I'll just pick another one.

Poor Tim!

Remember part of the score on the world ranking is decided by participation in the tournament challenges so any score is better than none  :)
