You've done a great job with the sims, they look awesome. The holiday house look fantastic and all the community buildings as well. The tower is unbelievable! I really want to find out what happen with those three and Effina's romance. I'm a bookworm, you know. :P

@ Louis and Magz Thank you guys! You guys are such good inspiration to continue writing hah. And Mags, you must go back and reread Will's description hah :) Maybe it matches the small description in Effina's chapter maybe not <.<

There are so many ideas of chapters going through my head, but I think it would be better to build up the characters first before I make any huge story reveals haha. What do you guys think, should I introduce more characters and really let you know the existing ones, or would you rather the story moved faster, every fantasy book I read begins slow to build characters, so I don't know :)

If you introduce more characters, a small recap at the beginning of the chapter will be a good idea. Like Rica do in her lifestate dynasty. ;)
I'm looking forward to future chapters, :)

New chapter, should be exciting for those of you who are waiting to hear what occurred after the coming :) Let me know what you think!

Chapter - Zorina

White lights… white sands… white figures… white shadows… white worlds….
A man appeared in all the white, blurred but clear as day, like a fond memory you are beginning to forget.

"Will, where are you…? Will… is that you? Will… Will!!"

Zorina awoke abruptly, cold sweat on her forehead. She rubbed the sleep from her eyes, and threw her head back onto the pillow cushion. Her breath was quick and her heart yet racing.
- It was just a dream, snap out of it -

She turned to look at the clock, half four. The sky outside was a pale amethyst, glowing slightly as the stars began to dim. Twilight.

Why was she thinking of Will… after all this time. Will's disappearance had been much harder for Nore. For him, it turned into an empty loneliness. He almost never smiles, even after all these years. For her… it turned to anger.

She got out of bed, washed off and threw on some clothes. She was living in a small cottage on Boulevard Etoile in the Natrium, had been since they forced her here after the coming. She left the house quickly, and began walking towards the market, where she worked at a bookstore. A cover.

Her house was situated close to the city walls. As she left, she looked towards the gates. A judicar stood watch. Her eyes fell on him as she turned her head, eyes yet glowing in the waning moonlight. She instinctively drew her hood further over her head as chill ran over her skin. But her pace remained calm. Her cloak whisked softly in the wind. It was a dark orange, with a plain cotton trim of grey, devoid of any insignia like you might see on the high nobles. She was no Neyrn, that was for certain.

"What are you doing here at this hour?"
Zor jumped slightly at the words. "Elizabeth… sorry I couldn't sleep."

Elizabeth blew out a small cloud of smoke, a long cigarette dangling between her fingers, half-held, half-about to fall. She worked at the bookstore with Zorina.

"Better question, what are you doing here, I thought you had the afternoon shift?"
"You know me, I'm a night owl, the quiet calms me. Did you hear, there been a huge ruckus and commotion in the Reserve. Noble carriages been coming in and out of the Royal Castle all week."
"No…I…."
"Yeah, I saw a few meself, they were all done up they were, shoulda seen Zor."
"Could you turn that ruckus off, you know it drives my head in."

Elizabeth had been listening to Neisaci music on her stereo, a reserved cacophony of harps, percussions, and chords.
"Jeez, sorry, what's going on with you today?"
"I told you… just couldn't sleep."

Work was slow, as it usually was. She thought about Nore, as she oft did during these hours. Likely at work she knew. She had not spoken with him for over a week now.

The bells of Tower Yonkori rung. It was noon, and her shift was over. She threw on her cloak and drew her hood. A quick wave to Elizabeth and she was off. She walked down the cobblestoned avenues, turning this corner and that. She retraced her steps a few times, turning randomly as she went. She had never been followed thus far, but it was necessary she knew. Finally she arrived at a small terrace house, nestled into the city walls, hidden between a plethora of other similar houses and a forest of trees. She knocked slowly on the door. A man's voice greeted her.

"Yes?"
"I'm hear to see Mr. Laursen."
"Sorry there is no one here by that name."
"Butterscotch." The code for this week.
The door flew open.
"Sorry Zor, I recognised your voice but you know…"
"It's okay Thor," she laughed and gave the big man a hug.
"Is Mattheiu here yet?"
"Yeah he got here a few minutes before you."

She made her way past Thor and into the main hall. Chairs had been set up already, and half were filled with various men and women.

She took a seat near the front, nodding slightly towards Mattheiu, who smiled upon seeing her enter. He was a tall man, but skinny, looked older than his two and fifty years. His hair was a sleek silver and he wore a thick beard. His eyes were a kind, soft blue, but his face was stern, hardened maybe. A few more minutes and the room was fill to bursting.

"Alright, I think we can begin now," Mattheiu began in a loud but fatherly voice.

"Citoyennes, the clouds are parting on our storm and I can see the sun. Many of you may have heard, but a commotion is building in Yonkori, in Neisacan, in the United Simdom! News has reached our ears, Emperor Gaston has vanished, his only heir an infant! The greedy noble Neyrns are already fighting for power even as we speak. Citoyennes of Glorylost, it is the time of a new tide, a time where the torrents of anguish and longing shall be quelled! A time where the waves of hope and glory shall arise! Citoyennes, now… now is our time!"

Silence… tears… cheers.

Just need to wait and see haha :)

I am on a writing binge I think hah. I wrote several chapters and a bunch of ideas but I will release them one at a time so as not to overwhelm anyone hah. I might take a break from writing to take some ingame images :D Anyway here is the next chapter, enjoy

Chapter - Jirard

"At the dawn of time, the Maker shown his light on us, and created all that there is and all that there will be." Brother Jirard had delivered this sermon countless times he had memorised it.

"He then sent out his four disciples, the Warrior, the Crone, the Smith and the Magus to watch over his creation. The warrior is our father, he who watches over us and champions justice, the Crone is our mother, she who represents fertility and wisdom, the Smith is our brother, he who looks over all creation and grants us fortitude and the Magus is our sister, she who granted us the gift of magic and controls all within its realm."

"We stand today in the temple of the prophet Najrasi, bride of the Maker. It was she who, in the first era of the Chantry calendar, the Era of Heroes, brought together all of Neisacan to battle against the tyrant Emperor, Ustof the Mad. It was she who first established the order of the Chantry and told us of the Chant of Wisdom, to guide us in our lives."

Brother Jirard looked around, noticing that a few of the children had dozed off. It seems that they too had heard this sermon countless times. Every Neisaci was likely able to recite the Chant of Wisdom in their sleep.

When his sermon ended, Brother Jirard kneeled, his congregation following his lead.

"Blessed be the Maker, may his light shine forever upon us, Falhurah."

"Falhurah," Everyone repeated.

Jirard stood as the congregation began to take their leave. A mother and her eldest son approached him as he began to gather his things.

"Brother Jirard, do you have a moment?"

"Why certainly Mrs. Lannas, would you mind walking with me, I must gather my coat and things from my room, High Chanter Onirias has called a meeting of the Small Council, must not keep the Neyrns waiting," he chuckled.

"No… we must not, I was actually wondering, well rather my son is wondering if he could come under your tutelage to become a Chanter."

Jirard frowned. "Mrs. Lannas, you know I would, but all apprentices must first speak with and be approved by the High Chanter himself, and if you are coming to me that means you must have already spoke with Onirias."

"I did… he thinks Richard is yet too young to join the Order, but Brother Jirard, just speak with the boy, he is almost a man grown and talks only of the Chantry. If you could just see how devoted he is you can-"
"Mrs. Lannas, I understand your request, all I can say for now is that I will talk with Onirias when I see him."
"Oh thank you Brother, thank you so much."
Jirard smiled and bid the two farewell.

He gathered his things quickly as he was already running behind. He walked back through the main hall and to the front doors, but as soon as he opened them, he froze. His face flushed as anger took over him. He regained himself quickly and moved in a brisk and rigid pace towards the temple entrance.

"What is going on here?! I told you before, I will not tolerate the Warriors of the Son on my temple grounds."
The larger of the two warriors answered him. "By order of House Lanark, all Simkis are forbidden from entering the grounds of the temple of Her Divineness, the prophet Najrasi."
Jirard's face flashed again. "He has neither the right nor the authority to do such a thing! You tell the Neyrn that he is no longer to send any men to this temple. I and I alone oversee the goings on here."

The men stood silent and watched Jirard sternly.
"You will leave now or I will force you out myself."

Brother Jirard was again met with silence.

His face was a bright crimson by now surely. He reached for his staff and the air grew slightly colder. The wind drew around him in a circle as one of the guards reached for his sword. Jirard drew a deep breath and slammed one end of his staff forcefully into the ground.

"Was Nagelle!"

The two guards fell to their knees, frozen in place. The twang of steel echoed in the afternoon light as one of their swords fell to the ground.

"You go back and tell the Neyrn that he is not to send any more men here, do you understand - or next time I am not going to hold back." Jirard slammed his staff against the ground once again and the two men flew backwards landing a few dozen metres outside the entrance.

Jirard gathered his things and with a heavy heart went on his way. He would be hearing of this again certainly…

Wow

Is that a good wow or a bad wow haha...

New chapter for you guys :) Working on the Temple of the Prophet Najrasi as well, so expect more images from the last chapter soon!

Chapter - Tir

Tir fell flat on his back. He coughed as he tried to regain his breath.

"I thought the Bal'Zulans were quicker than that," his foe jested. The others laughed.

Tir's face flashed with anger. He had to get up. He had to show them that he was strong enough to become a Judicar. As the youngest son of House Zulan he had no choice. He had to.

Tir regained himself and picked up his sword. He was not born with magic so swordplay was his only chance of becoming a Judicar.

He got to his feet and lunged left, but his opponent sidestepped quickly and parried. Tir managed to raise his sword in time, but a quick succession of blows and he lost his footing, falling back again. More laughter.

Neyrn Janesse looked at him, a cold hard stare, he despised that look. Tir reached for his sword and when he looked back, she had already gone. He would be nothing but a disappointment to his mother, who only had eyes for his older brother.

Tir left the scrimmage sore and bruised, the swords might be wooden, but that didn't mean they felt like feathers when they slammed into you. He was angry, angry at his mother, and at the laughter, but mostly angry at himself.

- How are you going to become a judicar like that, they will laugh you right out of the tourneys -

He kicked a large pebble as he walked, not really going anywhere but away from the Zulan estate. As he walked he was lost in his own thoughts, as he oft was at these times. He could not tell the time, the shadows of the Zenron Range covered the world. Before he knew it, he was at the city walls and night had fallen. The stars had begun appearing, shy at first, but after the first few, the rest seemed to follow. The moon too had decided to visit Tir, laughing at him like all the rest no doubt.

Tir began walking along the outer rim of the Reserve, he did not feel like going back home today so he decided to retire at Court, the royal castle was likely closer now than House Zulan.

"She's a pretty thing, Brother."

Tir halted in his tracks, his ears perking up slightly as the sound of a man's voice came from not too far away.

"Just grab her purse and let's go."

"But brother, can't we have a little fun?"

"Do as I say you half-wit. Why mother decided to have any more kids is beyond me."

Before he knew what he was doing, Tir had drawn his wooden sword and turned the alley corner to meet the men.

"Let her go!"

Tir saw two men, one short and scruffy with more than a little belly on him and the other tall and sleek, wearing a strange tall hat.

"Well lookey here brother, another pretty girl come to save the day. What should we do with her?"

"Best be off boy, or I will let my idiot brother here have a go at you."

Tir ignored them, lunging forward. He quickly smacked the fat on across the belly before parrying a swing from the tall one. The fat one fell to the ground, holding his stomach.

"She been hurting me brother," he cried.

Tir dodged left as the tall one swung again. The big man took his sword in both hands and lunged. Tir managed to raise his sword in the nick of time.

- Crack -

The wooden sword had splintered in two under the weight of the swing. He looked back at the tall man, who was now smirking. He fell forward as something knocked into him from behind, slamming him against the wall. Tir fell to his knees from the blow. He looked up at the girl.

"RUN!" He shouted.

She stood transfixed though, staring directly at him, horror clear on her face.

"Now! Run now!"

She did not move. Tir looked down, his hand was covering a red stain and his velvet tunic was wet. Tir looked back at the girl, there were tears now, gently rolling down her cheeks.

"You idiot, what did you?!"

"I been saving you brother."

"Fool, do you not see his coat, that is the crest of House Zulan."

The tall man grabbed the fat man's arm and ran.

Chapter on Jirad - Wow for awesome writing.  Chapter on Tir - confusing.  I couldn't follow the dialogue.  I read it through a couple of times before I think I got it.

He is indeed :) He is going to be a teen in the game. The children use wooden swords when they practice swordplay :D So that is why it was on him when he was strolling in the city. And also I realised it was not that clear from the chapter but Tir is a boy haha. The fat brother is meant to be kind of ... dumb, so he thinks he is a girl, but Tir is indeed a boy. Cheers :D

So here is the Temple of the Prophet Najrasi from Jirard's chapter :D It is modelled after the beautiful Notre Dame. I will be making Brother Jirard and some story images soon! The symbol in the front (in the hedges) is the Symbol of the Maker.
