Ocean Swimming

In the EA's Seasons game wallpaper is a group of sims that are swimming in the ocean. Well... in my game, I didn't saw any sim going by itself to enjoy a nice swim in the ocean/sea/lake water. I'm curious if the simmers here saw this in their game happening... maybe I didn't pay more attention or didn't played enough to discover that... how knows?

I did see it, but just one or two and they never swin for too long, unlike they do in the pool.

I've actually seen it but only in a few towns and like m.sato said it wasn't long leisurely swims by any means but they do do it.  I've seen more when I had an actual party at the beach and then they got in with my Sims.

So they are more likely to swim when is a beach lot party... Guess I have to play more to see that. Till now i've played in SV and STides and nothing happened.  I think that a script should be fine which sends townies to swim more often in world waters, as often as they go to pool lots...

In SV, RV, MF and in AP my sims have had the wish to swim in the ocean.  In SV, MF and AP all I had to do was take them to the beach and click on the water, the option came up to swim.  In they went and seemed to enjoy it.  Had to make them stay out, really.  I had them leave the water to send them home and next thing I knew, they were back in the water.
Riverview is different, I don't know where I can send them to swim, there is no beach; and unless I take them to the island I don't know what would be a good place.

Janna, is about the townies sims from a world the non-controlled population,npc sims,etc.   It's not about your own household, the sims that you can control ...

I would guess that if you send your own sims to the beach, the townies will follow. Seems to work with everywhere else I send mine, the library, the junkyard.  No one seems to visit them unless one of my own sims is on the lot.
