Here's what you might have missed if you haven't read this thread since the last update.  If you've been chain reading, you could probably skip this part.  Airica and Reka both finished their Life States requirements on the same day.  Both ended up giving birth within hours of each other.   While we watched all of Reka's litter vie for the heir spot, little Tala got all the attention while her siblings got to choose their own paths.  Now with all the kids in both houses all grown up, it's time for the heiresses to pull their weight and get to working on those new requirements.   With the race having been so close, will one of them pull ahead ?  Now here's an update about the stuff you would miss if you started reading at the next update.



Reka: "Aww nooboo"
Adrasteia: "Just had to fill up that space you had left in the house huh?"
Reka: "I promise George five babies."
Barbie: "I'm eating you know."
Adrasteia: "Yeah but there are two spots available now.  What if you give him a sixth?"
Barbie: "Got that handled."

Skipper: "Ahhh!  Ahhh!"
Reka: "Make her stop the screaming."
Adrasteia: "Walk to the other room.  She'll go back to potions like she's supposed to."
Reka: "Oh  yeah. "


Adrasteia: "Well hello little one.   A fourth witch huh?"
Reka: "It is a little disappointing but I can handle it."
Adrasteia: "I suggest Ann."
Reka: "Why Ann?"
Adrasteia: "Because you already have Andy."


Andy: "That makes 20.   Now what?"
Adrasteia: "You go home before you freeze and get a job."
Andy: "Oh! I want to be a cop like my dad."
Adrasteia: "Well alrighty then.  Let's go sign you up."


Andy: "I love a Sim who likes to learn new things.  That Ari Moore sounds awesome."
Adrasteia: "She's your boss."
Andy: "But it's meant to be.  I must learn her sign.  She must come over."
Adrasteia: "Wow.  Just wow."


Mayor: "The town of riverview gives you this key to the city as a sign of our affection."
Reka: "Thanks I think. "
Mayor: "You're the best inventor in the world and we're lucky to have you."
Reka: "Ok.  Bye now."


Adrasteia: "Wait a minute.. did I miss something?"
Andy: "This is the love of my life, Ari."
Ari: "Aww Nooboo. And that's the love of my love, Andy."
Adrasteia: "Who's the father?"
Andy: "I am."
Adrasteia: "Wait.. what?"


Mayor: "The city of Riverview congratulates you on this outstanding achievement.  We present you with this inventor's accolade to show our appreciation."
Reka: "Uhh.. I had a different mayor yesterday."
Mayor: "No No, it's always been me."
Reka: "Then who did I get the key to the city from?"
Mayor: "Oh you mean him.  He was the last mayor."
Reka: "I think I need to go now.  Thanks for the accolade." -quits job, makes everyone take new last name: Doll-


Adrasteia: "Birthday number 5 huh?  Let's see who the little darling looks like."
Reka: "It doesn't matter."
Adrasteia: "Hey she got your hair.  First one to do that."
Reka: -dances: "Yes yes yes yes yes yes."
Adrasteia: "Doesn't matter huh?"
Reka: -calms herself-  "Nope."


Why did I dress this child?  Because I love dressing nooboos.


Andy: "I know I've only known you for about two and a half days now but I want you to know I think the world of you."
Cherry Kanto: "This plasma juice is out of sight!"
Lydia Pearl: "I know.  It's the best ever especially cold."
Adrasteia: "Vampires are soo weird."


Andy: "Ari - it's cold out here and you don't have the cold trait like I do so we should probably go inside for the sake of our child."
Ari: "Being with you always keeps me warm."
Andy: "Ari.   I want to ask you something." -gets down on one knee in the snow, half disappears-   "WIll you marry me?"
Ari: "Oh yes yes yes!"
Andy: "Will you marry me right now?"
Ari: "Yes yes yes!"
Andy: "Then with this magic ring from my pocket.  I thee wed."
Ari: "With a magic ring from my pocket, I thee wed."
Ladies and Gents - Andy and Ari Doll! 


In celebration of the nuptials of their oldest son and the birthday of their youngest daughter - George and Reka Doll invite you all to a Feast Party at their house.
Ann: "You steal party."
Andy: "Looks it's the claw!"
Ann: "Don't change subject."


Aww nooboo.  At least her formal clothes almost match.


Skipper: "Ann.. what's wrong."
Ann: "I cry if I want to."
Skipper: "How about we do cake instead sweetie."
Ann: "Ok."
Reka: "Hey George."
George: "Yea babe?"
Reka: "How about we try out that mistletoe?"
George: "What about the baby?"
Reka: "She's getting what she wants now give me what I want."


Ann: "Tada!"
Adrasteia: "I think we need to dye your eyebrows.. "
Ann: "Why would you kill my eyebrows?! IT wasn't them I tell ya, it wasn't them!"
Adrasteia: "Oooh.  Insane trait."


Again - I don't know why I bothered dressing the child.  I think I wanted her to be normal but then I just couldn't handle having a little one or something.  I tried for a patchwork pattern on the every day just for her namesake.  Such a cute kid but I can already tell she looks like her mother.


Skip Broke: "Nice party.  You know I think you and I have a lot in common."
Skipper: "Yeah I think we do too."


Skip Broke: "That was the best 40 minute date I've ever been on."
Skipper: "Me too.  I have an idea."
Skip: "What's that?"


Skipper: "Since it seems to be in the air with my sister having proposed to Mr wonderful in there.   You want to take a leap and maybe get hitched?"
Skip: "Yes yes yes!"
Adrasteia: "What is it with Riverview people and the triple affirmations."


Luke McDermott: "You could have been mine."
Ann: "Uh what?"
Luke: "You could have been mine. I almost had your mother and you would have been mine."
Ann: "Ummm I have to go home now.  Don't follow me, I'll sick the dogs on you. bye!"


Adrasteia: "My sleuthing skills has found your granddaughter.  Robin Doll at the little kids park."
Reka: "On my way."
Ari: "Oh well hello Reka.  Always nice to see you.. Mom."
Reka: "Ari darling - it's nice to see you too.   How would you and Andy here like to come to the house for a little cake so I can meet my grandchild?"
Ari: "Of course!"

Reka: "OH don't be a spoilsport.  Now she'll be more fun."

George: "Yes."
Reka: "Did you get her that A?"
George: "Yep."
Reka: "Then I see no reason not to."


Ann: "I want to be pretty."
Adrasteia: "Of course you'll be pretty sweetheart."
Ann: "Ok good." -sparkles take over-
George: -epic music plays-
Reka: "Oh I had totally forgotten that would happen."
Adrasteia: "I didn't.  I slipped him an elixir for another one of those motive mobile things."
Reka: "Those are nice."


Ann: "I want another birthday."
George: "Only one cake per day dear."
Ann: "What about the potion?"
George: "Are you sure?  You could go to prom, stay young a little longer?"
Ann: "No I'm ready.   I want to be a YA."
George: "Well alright."
Adrasteia: "In that case, your wardrobe visit is cancelled."


Ann: -tosses the potion-  "I don't feel anything.  Oh wait.. there it is."
Ant: -barks and runs outside-
Adrasteia: "I think you got him with some glass."
Ann: "Oh oops."

So how long ago did you notice that none of the pictures were about Barbie?  Was it now or was it when Skipper said she got engaged?    It turns out for Week 10 I took 81 screenshots of the Doll House.   I could only collage so much when I decided that Miss Barbie deserved an update all her own.    Look for that.. coming up next!

No but I thought it was hilarious when I finally realized.   They really were attracted and she really did pop wishes for him so I let her have him.  He's a witch anyway.  One fountain of youth later and he's hers until they both part.

Might I also mention that I managed to get a sinus infection for Love Day.  So my sense of humor and ability to make sense is somewhat impaired.  I had approval of this method though meaning - someone told me that it made sense and go for it.  LOL

The Grim Recap:

Airica vs Reka - dynasty style!  The race has been close ever since Airica got her head out of a dark place and decided to catch up to her competitor.  Ever since the two ladies stayed neck and neck for who could win.   They completed their requirements within 2 hours of each other.   Then Airica's heir Tala was able to pull a full day ahead of the Doll triplets.   Once they were all grown up, it was decided that Barbie would be the new heir to carry on the challenge in the Doll house.   Will Barbie be able to regain the lead?  And who did she actually pick to be here beau if Skip Broke went to Skipper?



She chose Don!   Barbie popped all the right wishes when she met Don.   She also made all the right moves.  A potent friendship elixir later and a few social actions and he was hers to bring into the house.


Barbie: "Just so you know - I like pink so my section of the house is pink. "
Don: "Well I'd like to my section of the house to be black then."
Barbie: "That's not how this works.  You're here to help me pop wishes, marry me if I want to and then give me children for the next generation."
Don: "Wait what?!  You never said anything about marriage."
Barbie: "I just did.   When you run out of usefulness, you can leave but not before."
Don: "So I'm not getting a choice in all this pink?"
Barbie: "No.  You can have an entire wardrobe of black though."
Don: "If I paint you pictures can we put them on the walls?"
Barbie: "Of course.  Now go let Addy dress you.  I have a date with the sculpting station."
Don: "Who's Addy?"
Adrasteia: "I am. "
Don: -jumps- "AHh it's a voice in the sky."
Adrasteia: "I am not the voice.  She is someone else entirely and very classy lady.   I'm the watcher if you will.  Just call me Addy and get your hot little commitment issues buns over to the dresser."


Don: "I'm dressed now what about my lifetime wish?"
Adrasteia: "Seeing as how you just want to be friends with 20 people.  I think we can handle that.  There are some elixirs in the cabinet upstairs to grab then we'll go out and meet people ok?"
Don: "Sounds great."


Don: "Sorry Roxie.  I just want to be friends ok?"
Roxie: "But Don.. "
Don: "I know Roxie.  But hey, you're the last person I needed to be friends with to be very happy.  Now I can change out of the clothes the mirror gave me and go home."
Roxie: "I heard you moved in with that new family."
Don: "Yeah I'm sorda dating the daughter."
Roxie: "You both like black.. should be a good combo."
Don: "Not that one. The witch."
Roxie: "Oh good luck man.  Good luck." -walks away laughing-


Adrasteia: "Hahaha.   Good job there.  You just had to try it huh daredevil?"
Barbie: "Geh meh offa ere!"
Adrasteia: "Just pull really hard.  That's right.. use the feet."


Adrasteia: "That's a neat trick.   That a witch spell I don't know about."
Barbie: "Just something us kids can do for some reason.   I need something to warm up my tongue."
Adrasteia: "That should do it. "


Don: "What's wrong Barbie?"
Barbie: "I have something I need to ask you."
Don: "Ok.   What is it? You don't have a ring hiding in your pocket right?"
Barbie: "No. I need you to forsake your witch powers."
Don: "Wait.. why?"
Barbie: "Because I'm a witch and our kids aren't allowed to be witches."
Don: "Why not?"
Barbie: "Each generation has to be a different life state.  Mom is an Imaginary Friend, I'm a witch so the third generation has to be something else."
Don: "Do I get a choice?"
Barbie: "Sure - go ask Mom"
Don: "Ok sweetie.  Oh and don't lick the ice.  I heard it hurts."

Don: "I can't make apples anymore.  That's kind of sad."
Adrasteia: "Yeah but there are other possibilities I'm sure."
Don: "Yeah.  It just feels weird.   I can still ride a broom though right?"
Adrasteia: "I think you'd be better off with a muscle car.  What do you say?"
Don: "Ok!"
Adrasteia: "To Reka!"


Don: "SO what are my choices now that I'm human."
Reka: "You could stay normal"
Don: "Anything else?"
Reka: "If you don't mind being a little hairy, there's always the werewolf option."
Don: "Anything else?"


Reka: "You could become a ghost and that's it."
Don: "Wait.. Die?!"
Reka: "There are two other choices if you're afraid of death."
Don: "Hrm.  I'll get back to you."


Don: "Hey Lee.  That's some nice fur and teeth you got there."
Lee: "Thanks!  I love being a werewolf."
Don: "Really?   What about fleas?"
Lee: "No such thing for werewolves.  Hunting is fun, things smell better and you can play fetch!"
Don: "Huh.  Ok make me hairy, Lee."


Lee: "Really?"
Don: "Do it before I lose my nerve."


Skipper: "Hey don't mess up any of the furniture guys."


Don & Lee: "Arroooo"
Ant & Bee: "Amateurs."


Couple days later....
Adrasteia: "Oh man.  You look like Malcolm."
Don: "Whose Malcolm?"
Adrasteia: "Nothing.  It was just you looked so much better before the crash yesterday."
Don: "Crash?"
Adrasteia: "Nothing."


Don: "Ahhh" *itchitchscratchscratch*
Adrasteia: "You ok there stud?"
Don: "I think that bum lied to me about the fleas."


Barbie: "Wow.  That was a great twirl there."
Don: "Thanks.  It's easy when you're dancing with a pretty lady."
Barbie: "You flirt."
Don: "Why yes I am.  How kind of you to notice."


Barbie: "Hey Don.  I know I can be a little brusque.  But I really do like you.  I like spending time with you when I have a few moments between sculptures.  I like the way you look into my eyes.  I like watching you sleep."
Don: "That's a little weird but I like spending time with you too, Barbie."
Fatima: "No.  Don't like her.   Booo!"
Don: "Hey Barbie?"
Barbie: "Yeah Don?"
Don: "C'mon barbie let's go party."

Reka's first three kids were Simbots if you look at the family tree.  Dane Fable, Johnpaul Fable & ICantRememberHisNameRightNow Fable are all considered half-siblings to Reka's biological children.
