The Grim Recap:
Airica & Reka get thrown into a head to head competition to see who can finish a Life States Dynasty first. It's starting to get hard on who to root for as much as root for them both to finish. However, there has to be a winner right? They both finished their requirements within hours of each other and so their kids were born within hours of each other. Now both sides have children running around. Reka has three possible heirs & Airica has one. Both seem to be doing pretty well but what was up with Addy being a little sidetracked this week and why wouldn't she tell Airica? We're about to find out.
So I'm sure you both noticed my distraction although I'm betting Reka won't realize it until now. I knew Mom would figure it out since I've learned that Mom's get that extra sense about their kids. So let me tell you how my week went.
Everything was going much like it was going for you guys..
There was some potty training.
Some speech training..
Some cross training...
We had some older kid skill training to. Tertia and Secundus seem to really like painting. Although Secundus' come out a little wonky.
The twins do a lot of things together though. They eat dolls together.
and they play with their bears together. We could tell they had a really strong bond.
That's when
he showed up unannounced again. It seems that our little life which seemed peaceful and boring was actually in danger or something or other. I didn't understand a word he had coming out of his mouth. The few things I did get were grab your kids and let's go. When he saw the two toddlers, he made us stop our furious packing and pulled two cakes out from beneath his robe. I don't even want to know how they got there.
So we aged up Quintessa and Kuusi under little protest as the other kids all love cake. Who doesn't really? They just thought we were all going on a ride. It was where that had me on edge. They said there would be no interference and though I didn't expect that to be true - I guess I should have known.
With the help of Oona, both girls got their clothes done. They liked dressing similar so we let them. Then he said it was time to go with his hands on his hips and his toe just tapping away. I couldn't believe him. He's the one that showed up here and just demanded we leave. Sure he finally showed me the moving order after it was all said and done but at the time, I was a tad bit worried. I mean it is him. He's been a little paranoid since you guys started this thing.
Next thing we all knew, we were trusting him as he thrust us into the wardrobe. Not even a circle on the other side so I knew we were somewhere different. Not to mention the total lack of chill. Afterwards, he gave me a hug and kissed my cheek. Gilberto and he shook hands. With one of those famous smiles, he managed to weasel a hug out of every kid. He whispered a few words to Oona and then he was off in a cloud of black smoke.
And that's how my family just ended up on
Sunlit Tides.I mean I know I was worried going into the wardrobe but now that I've had time to think - could I really expect anything more from someone like Grandpa Artie? He was always a nutjob and will always be a nutjob.
So there you have it ladies. I'm distracted by the news we got and of course having to age up my children and move them in a rushed manner. I just hope the dust settles soon. Ta-ta for now. I'll check in with you both once I get all the arguing over which bed belongs to whom to stop.
No I can't tell you why I'm here and I'm not sure either of you will get to find out anytime soon either.
