Sim has disappeared! Please help!

I can see my sim from upstairs but not downstairs! Here is an example

Here she is at the bottom of the stairs!


Here's what happens when I move down a floor!



Can somebody please tell me how to fix this?

Oh and then there's a problem with going down the stairs to the basement! They were doing fine doing it for awhile but then all of a sudden 1 sim was going up and one sim was going down and pathing problems ensued and that's when all of a sudden going up and down the stairs became an issue for my sims!

Resetting sim should do the trick.  Bring up cheat window, type "resetSim Firstname Lastname", without quotes.  I do not know how many times I have used that lately, thank heavens they have this.
