This is a continuation to another story I wrote, A Summer In Sunset Valley. Link in my bio. You don't have to read it to understand what's going on, but you might want to, as you may understand some points in this story better if you do. I started this story last year, but my real life got busy and it got complicated and I wasn't able to actually write for this story, or any of my stories for that matter. It can be hard for me to actually finish stories, since I start to over think things and they end up way longer than I can ever complete. But I hope you enjoy this seasonal tale!

It's been three months. Three months since the crash. Since then, all my wounds that are visible have disappeared. But I still feel . .  Off. I am not myself anymore, I've changed. Cars are still scary, I just take the subway every where. So much has changed in three months. I was whisked home in a flurry, and we moved a week later. Our apartment no longer felt like home, plus the fact that people came night and day, trying to find more information on the mystery of the crash that no one seemed able  to connect with me not being here in the city, not yet anyways. I'm also home schooled now, since I didn't want go back. It didn't interest me anymore, plus I didn't want people continually asking me if I was okay.
Eliza is ten, and has been swept into the 'popular' group, now wearing makeup and asking for all the new clothes she can possibly get.
As for me, I stay away from it all. I have one friend who I can visit. Truthfully, I am okay with that.
You can tell that winter is coming, every morning is colder. The air is sharper. Snow is on it's way. Let it snow.

I hope you liked, and please feel free to tell me what you think!

So, my game doesn't want to work.  :( But I have an update, so I'll post it. Hopefully the words will make up for no pictures.

Chapter One
I stepped onto the diving board, shivering slightly in my bathing suit. As I walked towards the end of the board, it gave away a little, and bends. It can bend all it wants, I know it won't break. I bend my knees slightly, the board bending the smallest bit more. As I push off, I straighten my legs a bit.
I hit the water with a splash. The water is startling. Freezing. I sink to the bottom of the pool, the cold water freezing, but at the same time peaceful. The one thing that helps me clear my head when I'm frazzled and my head is fuzzy, is water. Ice cold water seems to freeze the thoughts in my head so they stop jumping around.
I kick to the surface, and take in deep breaths of the warm air. The air is now warmer than before, compared to the icy water. I tread water to get warmth back in my legs. The sky is picture perfect blue, deceiving everyone. Of the cold air, and the snow scheduled to fall in feet.
"Lucy! Lucy!" Someone calls, I turn my head to the back door. And see my mom calling my name, her hair is done up and her face shiny. She just got home from working on her latest T.V. series that she's the star of. "Summer's here!"
A few weeks after we moved, I was walking around when I ran into a girl my age. She introduced herself and ended up walking with me. We've been friends ever since.
"kay, Mom. Tell her I'll be in in a minute." I paddle to the edge and pull myself up. The air is now colder, the wind bitting into my skin. I hobble over to the loungers and grab a towel. Wrapping it around my waist, I dry my feet off on the mat in front of the door.
"Lucy!" An impatient voice calls, Eliza's voice. Eliza in three months has changed more than me. She comes to stand in front of the door, hands on her hips, blocking my way. "Don't you dare come in the house soaking wet like that." She raises her eyebrows at me and shakes her head. "Eliza," I say warningly. "Remember you're only ten." "I'll be ten and a half in four months." Eliza comments. I sigh, the joy of having a ten and two month year old sister.

I hope you liked the short update, and please feel free to tell me what you think or if you have an comments or suggestions!

Like Louise I can totally picture the little girl. That is the mark of an excellent writer you should feel very proud of yourself.

Wonderful update! Like the other two, I could clearly visualise her swimming. You are such an amazing writer, and I hope you get your game fixed.

Sorry for the delays in updates. Bridgeport does not want to work for me, and lags horribly. So, I have two choices;
I can a, just struggle through it, and have a few updates here and there.
Or,
b, they can go on vacation and I can update a whole lot more.

Whichever you guys prefer, I'm open to both.

Hmm, a vacation back to Sunset Valley? So Lucy can reconnect with a certain guy maybe...? ;)

Hehehe, I like that idea, a lot. Or maybe they can go to another town for a vacation, and they somehow bump into that certain guy.
