Strange problem that only occurs with one particular custom hairstyle

So I am trying to install this hairstyle on my sim:

Which appears fine in the CAS, but ingame, a different hairstyle shows up with a bald spot on the top:

Every retexture of the hairstyle also has the same problem, and it has been the only hairstyle that has given me a problem. All other custom hairstyles show up normally ingame. I really love this hairstyle and it would be really awesome if someone can help me find a solution. Thanks!

If you are having problems with custom content, I would suggest you approach the creator and let them know. Maybe they have a solution.
