New Seasons Recipes
« on: November 22, 2012, 01:46:05 PM »
What are the new recipes with Seasons? The Guide says there are a lot of them, but the recipe list hasn't been updated yet. I know there is Pumpkin Pie, what else?

Thank you. Didn't they already have Stuffed Turkey though? What's the difference I wonder?

Pumpkin pie I believe is the only recipe that a Sim can make at home. All the others can be bought at the festival lots, with the concession stands.

I've done a little research, although no playtesting yet, and I believe that those four recipes can be prepared at home. It is true however that there are many new foods that cannot, such as hot chocolate etc.

I know turkey can, but I haven't heard about pulled pork sandwiches, and grasshopper pie. How do you learn them?

I'm in the game right now and I don't see any new recipes available at the book store.  So, they have to be learned other ways.  I'll post if I can find out more.

My Sim made pumpkin pie shortly after carving pumpkins. Crazy thing is I have no idea how he learned the recipe. I have not come across any other recipes either.

Sometimes a Sim automatically learns a recipe after achieving a certain Cooking level. Like spaghetti and sushi.
