Aw! Can't believe I missed the Free Tiki Set ! I was too busy reading on this forum. I actually remember that sarong too I bought it on the store once I saw it used in the dynasty.

The Sims 3 Store is doing "spring cleaning" right now and several of their older sets have been put on sale until June 13.  The list that was given on the news bulletin was Asian Fusion, Ultra Lounge, Bayside, and Storybrook.

Right now, there is a sale on the "Buccaneer's Bounty" set. It is now 425 Simpoints, discounted from 850. Be quick, it's only on for another half hour, but it's really good value if you have the island, or want to get it.

There's a great daily deal for those who don't have Barnacle Bay. It's now down 600 points from 1,650 to 1,050! Hurry before its gone!

I got it, but just barely. I needed to buy more simpoints, but for the last week or so the "My Account" page has been broken. Thankfully, I was able to buy simpoints through the EA store (a helpful hint, if this ever happens to anyone else!) but they took almost an hour to show up on my account on The Sims 3.

Anyway, I'm just grateful that I was able to get the version without Buccaneer's Bounty since I already had that set!

I just saw this on the store page. It says there's a sale going on for certain sets. This sale is good through 6/13

Those are the only four.  According to EA they are removing these sets from the game.

They probably just want to keep the items new and fresh.  I imagine the sales of the older sets drop significantly over time.  No reason to feature them and pay for the hosting costs if nobody is buying them anymore.

It's just the four sets at the moment.
