Tab key problems with camera movement and panning

Anybody here who likes to make movies in The Sims 3?
Well, I do. You can use the TAB key to change that standard restricted camera stand to a much more convenient way of filming.
Problem is, the TAB key doesn't always work for me. Sometimes it does, and then I'm happy. But mostly it doesn't.
Who knows how to make the TAB key permanent for the free camera mode?

I have no idea; it's always been permanently linked to TAB for me. Have you checked under options or is that too convenient to be true? ;)

Haha, it is too impossible to be true. ;) There is no option for it. I've looked already.
