A-Frame Cabin
« on: November 20, 2012, 11:47:21 PM »
My first time to share anything here so I hope I'm doing this right.

This is an A-frame cabin I built in Sunset Valley on the lot beside Stoney Falls. I thought it turned out pretty nice so I decided to share. It's suitable for a small family but feel free to change it to a bachelor pad or anything you like. It doesn't contain any CC or store items but I do have all expansions and stuff packs so I probably used something from most of them. I moved in a Sim and tested it and everything seems to be in order. Anyway, here it is. I hope your sims will enjoy living here.  :)

Suggested lot: 53 Waterfall Way -  Sunset Valley (Beside Stoney Falls)
Lot Size: 36 X 47
Features: 3 Bedrooms, 2 Baths, Pool, Hot Tub, 3 Parking Spaces, Outdoor Cooking area
Price Furnished: 134,456
Price Unfurnished: 75968

Welcome to the forums!

This is a simply gorgeous cabin! So cosy and warm looking. I'd love to be a Sim and sit in there all snuggled up reading a good book on a cold winter's day. Well done!

This is a great build!

Soon I'll have to do some building of my own, and not just salivate over other peoples awesome creations.

Yes, This is very nice. All the evergreens around it really sells it. Plus I've always preferred the organic quality stained would over a more modern looking decor.

I am totally downloading this. :)

Very pretty! I love the... 'Woody-ness' of it :D

The tones and styles of wood blend together beautifully and Stoney Falls makes a lovely backdrop.

Both your houses that I have looked at so far are incredible! You have a gift for building!

You really are a talented builder! Now I will claim three of your creations for 3 very lucky Sim families. You seem to be in sync with my brain and the types of houses I like and want to use for my families.

Thank you very much.  I try to make my houses as realistic as the game will allow and not too big or too small. Those huge mansions I see are nice to look at but very hard to actually play in.  :)

Oh I bet it is. I need to try it out in winter and try to get some good shots.  :)

I think it's so charming!  You use the wood paneling to very good effect.
