Your Task:
There is a nip in the air, the leaves are starting to turn and the forcasts are predicting the frosts to settle on the grass each morning. Autumn is a beautiful time of year, it is full of rich and glorious colours, which are stolen by the winter to become dead and twisted branches of ice coldness. Your task is to create a home that is full of warmth, family fun and rich colours. Whether it is a modern dream or a rustic cottage it is up to you. How well will you use the Autumnal Colours? You won't be allowed to use any other colours..

Hello! Are we allowed to use white or grey on this at all, and also do the color rules apply to flowers, thanks!

Yeah you can use white and grey. Flower's are not subject to the colour rules. 

Another quick question, is the number of beds a set rule or just a recommendation. And if it is could we do 4 beds in 3 bedrooms or should there be 4 bedrooms. Also is 4x4 a required lot size or just recommended, thanks!

The rules specifically say UNDER 40 x 40.  So that means the lot cannot be any bigger than 40 x 40.

The rules also say a minimum of bed spaces not a minimum of  bedrooms.  You have to meet the minimum bed spaces.  A double bed counts as 2 spaces. (Edited in from Ricalynn's Post)

After many tries, I finally finished this build. This contest was very exciting, I was able to move away from square builds and the rules forced me to use colors I otherwise usually do not, and much to my surprise, I very much enjoyed the ebullience they resulted in. The richness of oranges and the warmth of various browns was unexpected. I was thinking going in, who would use these colors on the outside of their house. Anyway, without further ado, here is Fall Manse.

This is both my first contest entry and my first ever attempt to share a lot.  Please bear with me as I learn.  If I have made any mistakes please let me know. I am absolutely terrified I've left in paid store content, although I've checked about eleventy million times. I'm not sure how to make the smaller images like other people have done.  Thanks for the support and help!

Sorry for the last-minute entry, but life caught up with me for the past few days so I didn't get around to finishing it until tonight. This is my first entry in a building contest, so please let me know if there's anything wrong.

This three-bedroom, two-bath cottage is decorated in warm, cozy, autumn colors, from the cherry cabinets in the kitchen to the golden browns of the master suite.  The front pathway is lined with flowers and lights, and a comfy bench sits under one of the shady trees.  The spacious eat-in kitchen seats six around the table, plus three more at the counter.  The stoves are placed so that whoever is cooking can look out over the living area.  The "baker's rack" is one of the storage units from Supernatural with cabinets underneath -- the coffee pot is useable and so is the storage.  There is plenty of empty space to avoid the dreaded homework/call to meal/birthday party route fail. Pillars and terracotta tile separate the kitchen from the adjacent hallway, and a door leads out to the back porch, with a cozy bench and room for a grill.

The living room has two seating areas, one with a TV and one with a bookshelf, as well as a fireplace.  The study/activity room has a desk and easel, plus a stereo with room to work out.  The comfortable master suite has an attached sitting room with fireplace, as well as a bathroom with separate shower and tub.  The other two bedrooms share a small hallway and bathroom.  One of the other bedrooms is designed for a child, with a pirate bed that sticks to the autumn color scheme.  The other spare bedroom could be for an older child or a guest.
