You can attach .zip files. I don't know if Mac's have WinZIP or a Zipping tool inbuilt, but if you do, zip it into a zip or rar, and upload it. :)

I'm thinking you need to update WA, HELS, AMB, FLS, and more (the column in the Analyzer is too long to see all of them). :) That's the cause it's telling me at least.

Thanks for checking this.   I don't have any of those EPs though.  I only have Pets and SN and that's all I'm running.

And as it stands now, I can't play any games at all.  None of my save files (even ones from before I tried to add Seasons) and no new games either.  Nothing at all works.  :(

edited to add:  I'm now trying work my through every possible suggestion on how to fix crashes, in order, on the mod the sims site.  But I'm really baffled...and upset....because how is that I can't play games I used to be able to play?  It's really wierd.

The only other solution I can think of (short of talking to Flynn Arrowstarr) is that your graphics card might not be up to par. Try updating it. :)

I just downloaded and opened that crash log you provided Seabody. I didn't need to load anything into it, it seems. It already have 2 logs for my last two tries at playing the game (including today's crash). Seems the problem is "Insufficient Graphics Capability". I thought I had a good graphics card, but I'll discuss it with my dad tonight (IT tech). Thanks for the program seabody. :)

It autoscans your The Sims 3 folder. If you want to scan somewhere else, you simply go File > Change Scan Directory. And sometimes the game can change it's required graphics card, or yours can get a bit older, and it needs a quick update, which is usually downloading a new driver (eg, I downloaded a driver from HP's website and had it all configured in 15 minutes maximum). And you're welcome. :)

My graphics is "Up to 1760 MB TurboCache" which my dad says is very good, so he's not sure why it's not working. A quick update from online? I'll have to look into that - I'll ask my dad about a 'driver'. Thanks once again :)

I don't think my graphics card is ideal, but it has previously worked with Pets and SN loaded....(And I did check to see if I could update drivers or anything like that but it didn't have any to update).

I was however able to play a totally new game for an hour, which is by the far the best I've been able to get since the problem started, so I'm now pasting things back in slowly to see what is causing the problem.  If I figure it out, I'll report back in case anyone else goes through this.

And as always, if anyone has thoughts, I'm willing to hear them!

And thankyou very much, Seabody, for all your help!

My dad did a ton of windows and other updates and now it looks like it's working fine! :D Granted, I only played a little while to confirm that it didn't freeze quickly like it was before, but I am very hopeful! :)

Mine isn't either.  In my case, though, I think I may just have reached the limit of what my poor little MacBook, with its weak shared graphics, can handle.  I don't know why I was able to run Sims3 plus Pets plus SN, but after doing a lot of research on this, it seems I shouldn't have been able to run all this!

I've had to bite the bullet and decide if I want to get a PC just for gaming, and I think that is the way I am going to have to go.

Doesn't answer why all my game saves seem to be problematic, nor does it help you, I'm afraid, but for me, I think the problem was simply not enough of a graphics card to handle what I was asking it to do.

Same crashing/freezing problem.  I'm on a iMac (latest model and up-to-date software) with no mods.  Never had this problem before Seasons (which I would love if I could actually play it for more than 90 seconds at a time).  It seems to have gotten worse since making one of my Sims a professional Nectar Maker.  It was annoying before, but now it's virtually unplayable.  I'm going to try changing professions to see if that helps, but I'm definitely not happy with Seasons performance.
