So I just installed Seasons (doing a complete reinstall for Mac, following instructions on this forum), and I cannot get it to play. I play 10 minutes tops and the game crashes.
I'm wondering if I am just overwhelming what my little MacBook can handle? I've looked at the system requirements for the games, but can't quite figure out how much I need to handle the three EPs I have (Pets, Supernatural and now Seasons, and SN and Pets run well by the way).
I have a MacBook with 4 GB ram. The graphics card is chipset (perhaps this is the problem?) and this is the info. for it: Chipset Model: NVIDIA GeForce 9400M,Type: GPU, Bus: PCI, VRAM (Total): 256 MB
Processor is 2.26 GHz intel core 2 duo and I have 142 GB free on the harddrive.
I'm thinking about getting another laptop just for gaming anyway, but in the meantime, I wonder if I should just uninstall Seasons? Is it too much for my laptop to handle? I'd like to have an idea if this is what is going on or if I should look for other solutions (like do another install, etc)
Thanks for any help!
Oh, I forgot to add, in case it matters, that this was happening in MFalls, and I am running a couple of NRASS mods, which are the latest versions (I even reinstalled them when I did my reinstall, just in case). Story Progression, Master Controller, Error Trap, and Overwatch.
