Omni plants in mailbox
« on: November 15, 2012, 07:53:06 PM »
I know I read this somewhere, but I think it needs its own thread, because it is getting way out of hand.  The amount of omni plants and pieces of mail are growing at a rapid rate in my sims inventory.  I am not ever going to have my sim get mail again, lol.  I thought I had read where someone had a solution for this.  If someone knows of one, please let me know.

I think someone said somewhere about a twallan mod that let you delete them.

I found it.  It was Twallans MasterController mod.  You can transfer them back to the mailbox and they are suppose to turn back into gifts.  I think I will just stay away from the mailbox, lol.

I was reading about it on Twallan's site and he posted a link to a mod that stops the gifts from coming. It also stops all the phone calls of asking your sims if they want to go on a date. You can get the mod here if you want.
After installing the mod my mailbox was still showing gifts in it even after I checked it and to take care of that I had to delete the mailbox and place a new one. I haven't had any more gifts sense then.

Is this the same issue as what's being discussed in this thread?

I apologize, I didn't see this thread, but since I found a solution it can be put wherever it needs to be put.

No worries.  I wasn't sure if it was the same thing.  But since it is...  how about merging the two threads and then posting the solution in the merged thread?  :)
