Books disapear from bookcase

Whenever I let my sim buy the by himself written books and I receive them and put them in a bookcase they all mysterically disapear within the next 24 hours.
Does anyone knows why this is or better yet: how to fix it?

I haven't tried putting Sim-written books in the bookcase recently, but I've had them disappear from the Sim's inventory which is equally annoying.  I've started putting them in World Adventures chests because they're safe there (I think).

I've recently had them disappear from a chest,too.  Sounds like they are bugged.

Hm, okey.
I've noticed one thing that can help though, but it is a bit doubting: get all books in the bookcase in the house and save that house (without family which you move first) to the bin and back. I got books from years ago when I placed a castle back in France. Written in 2010! I put mostly the date of when the book is written in the book, because.
