No, I have the sunflower outside too.  I meant that when I tried the reinstall instructions, I found that I hadn't deleted that sunflower from my downloads as it was in a separate category.  You not only need to delete the venue, but all the pieces of the set in their various categories before reinstalling.  That's what I was doing wrong.

Hi Pam, good to see you back.

I finally got my greenhouse to work by making sure I had all the individual contents of the set uninstalled.  I found that I hadn't uninstalled the sunflower.  Once I fixed that, I used the simple wooden floor panel as the roof and it disappeared nicely.  No problem with dormancy in winter and fall anymore. 

I'm trying this idea and running into problems.  I've uninstalled the greenhouse, but I can't find any of the individual items.  I've looked the entire list of installed content and did not see the sunflower or anything else that came with the greenhouse.  Any ideas?

Sometimes, when I uninstalled the Stones Throw Greenhouse the other objects automatically uninstalled too, except for the sunflower, which was in my Downloads (not Installed Content) in the Objects tab.  The sunflower didn't automatically uninstall.  Once I uninstalled it then reinstalled the venue, it worked.  I can't remember how many times I tried it and then finally, it worked.  I purchased my TS3 through Steam, so I don't know if that makes a difference.  Also I didn't get the peashooter because Steam didn't have that version, so if you have it, make sure that's uninstalled too. 

At my first few goes at uninstalling I deleted the individal pieces of the greenhouse itself before I deleted the venue, i.e. the swiftgrow station, the roof pieces and the window, which were also in the Installed Content / Objects tab.  Then I learned to scroll up from the bottom and uninstall the venue first.  Sometimes it didn't uninstall the bits and pieces but other times it did. 

I also use the same 'simple floor' in the wood tab for the roof that the Stones Throw Greenhouse uses not the §0 one.  I think from memory it's §3 a tile.   I hope this helps.  I'm not really computer savvy so maybe I'm not explaining this well.

Thanks, Mags.  I did find the other objects to remove and I've re-installed the Greenhouse.  My current house doesn't have enough room to try building a greenhouse.  I'll test it another day.  I appreciate all of your suggestions.

Hi there, I used to have similar problem with the greenhouse but yesterday I suspected it solved - well I said suspect because when I put on the roof, floors underneath it disappeared and it never did so before. I still haven't tested dormancy yet. Mine was a tiny starter home and I simply deleted the original roof to test the basics.
I uninstalled all my store contents, cleared all caches, made the system generate a brand new EA folder and downloaded the set fresh from my store account to make it work. Hopefully your problem will be go away as well pretty soon:)

So I accidently uninstalled Stone's throw greenhouse.  I was not happy about this, because I'd spent a very long time filling it with a perfect garden, but I figured my perfect version should be fine if I just reinstalled the whole stone's throw green house from the store.

But it's not just that.  Now I can't get ANY stone's throw greenhouse to work at all!  I've tried to place my perfect greenhouse repeatedly, and it always shows up with brick walls instead of greenhouse walls.  Then I tried placing just the regular greenhouse, and the same thing.  I've uninstalled it about 4 times now and redownloaded and reinstalled, and every time it's the same thing:  I get a brick building instead of a glass greenhouse!

Thanks, and sorry for not posting it there in the first place.  I thought about it, but wasn't sure if it was a greenhouse specific problem or an installation problem....

I do hope someone has some ideas because I'm not happy to now have NO greenhouse at all!

Is it possible that you never redownloaded after they fixed the set?  When you uninstall it, are you certain everything is uninstalling?  I had an issue where sunflower wasn't uninstalling with everything else.    Have you tried a factory reset folder to see if downloading it to a fresh game makes it work for you?

I did have the new version of it anyway, and then of course, I've uninstalled and reinstalled (and redownloaded) about 6 or  7 times in the last 24 hours, so I shouldn't have the wrong version.  However, how do I know if everything uninstalled?  That could very well be the problem.  I've been going off what I see in the launcher, and I also simply deleted the "greenhouse set" from the downloads file, but I did wonder if I should be seeing something else.  Except for the deleting of the greenhouse set mentioned above, I've been using the launcher to uninstall, download and reinstall.

I haven't deleted the ccmerged file.  And haven't tried the factor reset folder thing yet, but yes, that may have to happen next.

(And as for the walls--we're talking about the same thing.  I was just calling them walls, as in glass walls, but windows, yes, might be more accurate.  Unfortunately, now I have real brick walls!  )

Oh, one other question on this....if I do manage to get the content uninstalled and reinstalled correctly, do you all think I'll be able to keep my perfect greenhouse?  Or do you think that's pretty much gone forever?

I would use the launcher to go through every item that is installed into your game.   It's a slow process but you need to look for anything that you remember being in the greenhouse set.   The sunflower is always the culprit for me but it could be the roof pieces or the windows.

Thank you so much!  I did this, went through the launcher and deleted everything that was wit the set. There was a LOT of stuff that the launcher did not uninstall--clothes, roof parts, and yes, the sunflower.  I uninstalled them all, then redownloaded and reinstalled, and now everything is fine, and I even still have my perfect greenhouse.  So thank you very much for this suggestion!  I'm delighted!

I think the pictures at the bottom of the store page show all the content included with the Set.

When you are playing the game and you go to buy mode, there is a place you can click on sets you have bought from the store and when you click on it, it has all of the items that came from that set.  I went crazy trying to find everything for the sets I have and realized this button.  You do not have to have the shop mode turned on either.  The one for Monte Vista has everything that came with the game and it has one for the greenhouse also and everything that it came with.
