New Store World: Monte Vista

This got me curious so I went searching with a collection helper, finally found them near the lighthouse.



No fishing spot showed up there during the day, it just appeared at night.

The fact that the spawner only showed up at night makes sense - death fish and vampire fish only appear between, I think it's midnight and 3am sims time?

I believe, but not sure, that it's midnight to 5 or so. And I think vampire fish are always there, yes?

Why don't they permit this world to be bought with sim points?

I was able to use simpoints to purchase Hidden Springs, Lunar Lakes and Sunlit Tides, so why don't they make that available for Monte Vista as well?

I don't have a credit card, and the EA website tells me that my paypal account can't connect to it, even though I'm following the EA instructions for connecting a paypal account.

Yes the vampire fish were there during the day but no fish were jumping so I guess the collection helper didn't consider it a good fishing spot.

It was vampire fish I first looked for as they tend to be where deathfish are, there were some by one of the bridges so I waited there at first, fished there for a bit too and once they stopped jumping that spot vanished from map view, so i'm guessing that's why the other one didn't show up during the day.

I've had this trouble during checkout getting it to load paypal, took me a bit to work out that I had to set the stores site language to French, my paypal account is English like me but I now live in France and it will only load the paypal page from the checkout screen if I set the site to French. So basically I end up having two currency conversions by the time i'm finished.

I just finally bought it! I am so excited! I can't wait to check everything out!

EDIT: I have been unable to download and install the festival lot. I don't know why. Has anyone else had this problem?

I didn't have any problems, but when downloads don't work with me I just delete them and try again. Usually that works. Good luck!

I brought this town last night, but haven't played yet. I can't wait to play, but I only have 30 Minutes -.-
Is it just me, or does it look like Voltera from Twilight?

I started an Immortal Dynasty there... no spawner placement for me

If you happen to have a Witch in your family, you have a chance to get them from Conversion Ritual.

I got this last night and played for a couple of hours as a townie (Lia Rasi?  I think that's her name) to check it out.  It was wierdly empty.  Wherever my sim went, she was alone.  There were also no wandering animals like I usually see, though finally, after much searching, I saw some wild horses at one of the fishing holes.

It's pretty, but I wonder if it will fill up more?  It seemed wierdly unpopulated!

The town in like Montepulciano in Italy which is where they filmed Voltera in Twilight.

Has anyone found a Pink Diamond yet? I know there are other ways of obtaining them but I like the hunt! So far I've not found any

Yes, I have found one on the festival lot (from EA on the exchange). There are many spawners on that lot and the outcome changes, but I also found a pink diamond once.
Maybe the spawners for the diamond are the same on the original lot.

 I had not placed the Monte Vista festival lot in my town yet, I'll have to go into edit town and place it.

Retail version is set to hit stores next week from what I understand.
