Seasons Traits and Hidden Traits

I've heard of two traits. Perhaps there are more than Love Hot Weather or Cold Weather or something in that in that line.
Are there also hidden traits which can be revealed? Perhaps the Space Aliens have them.

I dunno if Loves Hot/Cold Weather is worth it as you can buy Immune to Heat/Cold with happiness points. Oddly enough, the Loves Hot/Cold Weather traits are not mutually exclusive. If you want to waste the slots, you can have both.
A 1920s era house needing heat, AC, new floors, new drywall on the walls and ceilings, new bathroom fixtures, new kitchen cabinets, new water heaters.... The roof is sound, but why didn't I just buy an empty lot?

I'm with you. If I wanted to get the most out of traits, I wouldn't pick these two given the rewards are only 10k each. Still, sometimes we pick to give them some personality.

Hm, I am sure there must be more into it.
Saying that, I simply can not believe there is a teasing for these traits if they simply can be 'replaced' with lifetime rewards.
I assume there must be some nice moodlets hidden in the game to be found by sims with the right trait.

I don't have the game myself so I can't check, but I would imagine someone who loves hot/cold weather would get a positive moodlet from going outside in that weather, and the LTRs are just to prevent death/damage from the weather.

I guess someone would've noticed that by now though (unless nobody has picked those traits :P) so I'm probably wrong.

As soon as I get the game I will check them out.  I am the person who HATES winter, hates tha cold, depressig time of the year for me.  SAD (Seasonal Affective Disorder) hits me during the months of Nov through Feb-March.  So, cold is associated with winter, lack of sun.

I don't like the hot aspect of summer, so really don't like heat; it is the sunlight during that time of the year I crave, with Spring being my favorite season.   I LOVE spring, sunny, sunny, sunny, yeah, sun! So I will do a comparrision of them.

I wil make for each trait of hot/cold a set of brother and sister who are self employed, authors.  I can keep everything exact, as much as possible, with one one liking heat, the other liking cold during the summer season.  Amount of time outdoors, inside, activities, opportunities and such.
Then another set, same setup, but it being winter instead of summer.  Comapre them and see what I get from the four.
Does that sound like a good method to check it out?  Any suggestions on this experiment?

I always play my sims with love of outdoors, should I leave that in?  Does it matter about other traits?  I won't be using F.Oriented for them.  Bokworm, C. Whiz, Hot or Cold, Love of OD and Perfectionist, sound okay?   Not sure if you have certain traits you use in your tests.
