I agree with Janna. You have to engage them in conversation; maybe play chess with them. My sim was then able to invite the alien to her pool party!

I don't know. Maybe it was enough, but all I had my sim do was "heckle" the alien as she was running away. She shows up in his friends list and he was able to call her.

I've noticed that after my Sim returns from being abducted, he has the option to "Probe" the alien bringing him back, but it's grayed out.  Is there ever a time when that option is active and clickable?  If so, what does it do?

I've had the grayed out 'Probe' option, even when my Sim hasn't been abducted. It usually appears on a non-household Sim who is leaving (e.g going off in a taxi, running home, an alien returning to it's spaceship, etc). I have no idea what it does, maybe it's a mistake?

So, is it a for sure thing that elder Sims can get abducted and become pregnant?

Yep, absolutely a thing.  Happened to one of the helpers in my Immortal Dynasty twice.  He also died twice from a jelly bean bush and electrocuted himself dead before being allowed to pass away in peace at the ripe old age of 102.

Is there a way to keep the black alien eyes? I saved an alien I saw to the bin so I could use him later, but his eye color didn't stay when I played him again.

Really? That's interesting. I've been having the opposite problem. I've been trying to get rid of the black eyes. I can change everything else about them in CAS to make them look like normal humans but the black eyes can't be changed in CAS.

I'll have to try saving them to the been and place them in a new game save and see if that works.

I've been trying to get one of my regular human sims abducted and impregnated to get an alien in that household the honest way. Three times abducted and still no pregnancy. I even made sure she had the fertility treatment for the third abduction and still nothing. Perhaps she's being abducted by sterile aliens, I don't know. ;p

I've had several abductions so far in game, and from what I observed, the females can not get pregnant. But kudos to the person that mods their way around that!

Uhhg! No Wonder my sim Woman has been abducted three times without getting pregnant despite having the fertility treatment. That's so unfair.

New game, after University, and my sim (female) has a high science level. An alien showed up at her home. She invited "her" in , and then asked her to move in. The alien was NOT old, like most. She was a young adult with traits similar to my sim. They became lovers and had a child. The child had the alien eyes.

In previous games, most of the aliens were old. This one had good traits and was young!

I've noticed the dominance of elder aliens, too. Maybe pestering Earthlings is some kind of retirement entertainment program for them.

I'm currently on my 4th  gen in my family, and Shueyel Tanobnob had been their alien friend since the 1st, but she's abducted and probed my teen Sim! This happened when he was only awake, on his way to greet the new puppy they got. He was sucked up in no time, and I thought he was dead for sure. He came back feeling probed and all that. Thank goodness he's only a teen.

I finally have a young adult male sim with the "Unexpected weight gain". He was abducted and then I saved the game with about 2 hours left on that bad moodlet and have quit without saving probably 8 times hoping to get it. This was going to be the last time, I wasn't going to try anymore and the weight gain moodlet popped just as soon as the adbuction moodlet expired. So happy

I had been trying for months!  I am so envious!!!  I actually just gave up but I didn't try 8 times.  You have a lot of patience or your game loads super fast.  Just the thought of waiting 80 minutes for the unexpected weight gain moodlet would drive me bananas.

Just some curious question in my mind. Can someone have alien if they don't have seasons?

coz to be honest changing seasons once every few days is quite troublesome for me. but the alien looks interesting...
