Aliens!

I believe I read that alien toddlers can be given hair.  If you simply choose a hairstyle, is it automatically a particular color?  I'm wondering if the alien offspring are able to get hair color from the human parent or if it's always a generic color.

In my first attempt with my family the toddler took on the hair color of the mother, she had a custom color that I did for her. My second child should be aged up later tonight, once I see how her hair turns out I'll edit this post.

She ended up with a green color just like Tilia mentioned in her post.

Has anyone noticed the aliens talk with a resonance in their voices? It's only a little different then regular Sims, I think this may be an Easter Egg.

Odd question, can male aliens be abducted and consequently impregnated? I'm thinking of doing an alien legacy, and with alien powers fading I definitely want to keep the main branch as pure as possible XD and the thought of an alien being abducted is kind of amusing heehee

I don't see why not.  The abduction happens to anyone in the house and if it's a male it's a 33 % chance when the moodlet wears off to be pregnant.   Although remember babies coming from abduction pregnancies are 100% alien and share no actual DNA with the Sim that birthed them.   

I think I'm off to get an alien abducted.

EDIT: Didn't wanna double post: has anyone had abduction lead to a multiple birth? Or is it always just one green skinned nooboo?

Here's my sims half alien daughter as a teen. Aliens have energy like a normal sim up until they reach teen stage. Now it's time to see if daughter can summon a meteor down on her school.

Is anybody else not getting aliens? I've tried looking in the telescope 24/7 and I've tried in 2 different towns for 2 sim weeks each time. The towns where sunset valley and Appaloosa plains. My male sim also had 3 space rocks on his lot each time.

I was beginning to wonder, as I hadn't had any visits yet.  At first I was going because they were gardeners and so in bed by 11 at latest.
But when I moved them to their new home, no visits.  I had three small space rocks and the telescope.

Then I added two more small space rocks and he had a visitor that night. Sis of course had to interfer as she wanted to talke to the alien.
Good thing is that she had hearts show up and the I" think we have  lot in common" remark.  He has been calling her and I have plans to invite her to visit and then marry them. 

I don't know if adding the extra rocks helped or I was just lucky, but you could try that.

Hi all, My Alien can't get the well rested moodlet He can only use brain power to regenate but once its maxed, he pops out of bed lol! I make him sleep but he still don't get the well rested moodlet. How do I get him that? Thanks.

Finally got abducted! here's hoping for unexpected waitweight(=.=) gain!

EDIT! So, my sim had an alien baby, kept it, and is raising it... but he has no wishes related to it. He hasn't wished to hold him, to teach him to walk or talk, anything. And apparently my "pregnancy" didn't go well because I didn't get to pick the traits...

My Bobby Sargeant was abducted one night while upgrading something in the house. I wasn't even trying for an alien visit/abduction with the Sargeant family, it just happened. No space rocks in sight. I do think maybe one of the children had been looking through the telescope for a few nights in a row, though. Not sure if that's related to his abduction. Anyway, sure enough, a day or so after he was abducted, he gained mystery weight! It was pretty amusing to see his waddle when he was in his 3rd day of pregnancy. He gave birth to a daughter and decided to keep her. She came with the traits of Friendly and Good and now she is a child and I've added the Diva trait. I took screenshots but I haven't looked at them yet, but if they aren't horrible I may share them. My settings are on the lowest because the weather kind of lags me out.

So, Griffin Gray invited Xabeqa Ewi Bip over for a nice dinner of Veggie Rolls.



Soon, love blossomed, and Xabeqa moved in.  As a wedding present, Griffin decided to upgrade Xabeqa's spacecraft!



Taking it for a test drive, Griffin went to the moon, to find flags, a movie studio, and gold.

Flags and a movie studio.  Makes me think of the belief some had (still have ?) that we (US) didn't really land on the moon, it was faked.  Guess they were having a laugh at that theory. 

My sim was abucted last night in MF. He had the weight gain and a few days later Spock was born.  The aliens have pointed ears, couldln't resist. 
Curious that my sim, who has high athletic skills and was definity eye candy before the pregancy, afterwards when he had his shirt off he remained overweight.  Even after working out he couldn't seem to lose the weight. Used the cheat to modify that; standing beside Dad it was pitfull to see him not as fit and trim before the pregancy.  He had turned YA just five days before he was abducted.
