I haven't been able to get any pregnant since Chris had Yoda/Leia.  However, I get abducted every night.

I just downloaded Seasons, right now I am working on a new community garden; need a 30 x30 to work in SV.  Thought I had one smaller.
So far, and I have played only one day, summer, the only exciting thing has been the fair.  My male sim, brother and sister combo, won the eating contest and then sat around and moaned from eating too many hot dogs. Needless to say, I have no sympathy for him, I didn't tell him to participate on the contest.   :)

Anyhow, on alien babies, I wonder what kind of babies they will have when they mate with a human sim.  Half alien, half human, mates with a half human, half supernatural or full supernatural; that would be a wild combination.
Wonder if the kid would have any of the abilities of supernatural, I know the supernatural and alien can't have any child with mixed abiliteis; but if human and supernatural has a 50/50 chance of child being one or other, and the alien/human combination has special abilities,  I wonder what will come from half alien with full supernatural or half supernatural mating.  Interesting, at least to me.

How are aliëns and weather? Do they have a special resistence against overheating/undercooling for example?

Aliens are affected by weather same as any other sim. The major plus with them is that don't need sleep.

My scientist finally got an alien to move in...after enduring several probings from other outer space visitors.

I think he's a gangsta from outer space. His favorite music is hip hop and he wants to be a rock star. His traits are...party animal, flirty, daredevil, clumsy, and workaholic. He's already been arrested once for breaking into the science building, and he did a drive-by on the park with his space car.

After several abductions from aliens which I think was the same one without a male pregnancy I needed a new plan. I did not get what I wanted but I did get something even better.

It took a long time building relationship with an alien. Chris and Shannan became close very fast. They had their first kiss and smooches under the mistletoe. Unfortanatly I did not know she was elderly. Just as their relation was heating up Chris invited her over for some "fun". When Shannan arvived at Chris's house they waiseted no time in getting frisky. Just as Chris was relaxing on the bed Shannan passed away from old age. Luckily Chris had the Oh My Ghost opprotunity and had her restored as a ghost. Then they got married.

Christopher Steel and his wife Shannan

They soon had a little nuboo Vesna Steel. She is alien like her momma.

Shannan and Vesna. Vesna is tired and giving momma an earful.

Most of the aliens I encountered were elders too. Seems like a bug to me, but maybe not. I had to give a young again potion to one moving in with me. Maybe the Sims towns are just retirement communities for geriatric extraterrestrials.

Aliens can be anything from YA to Elder in my experience.  Plus that's what it says in the coding.    Also remember that you can't guarantee a child is an alien until you reach the teen stage and see if they have powers.  The skin tone is just another one of the sliders as is the ears and facial features which is all part of normal Sim genetics.

The way Alien DNA works is that with every non alien mated with the offspring will start to lose some of that base DNA and then lose the powers.  It's not exactly like a 50/50 thing as it is with other occults.  The alien part can fade as a part of their coding.

I had no problems getting alien visitors in Riverview but i'm coming up dry in Sunset Valley. Are there certain other things you need to do, like have the telescope outside, use only the base game telescope, etc. ?

Also having problem getting rocks in Sunset. I was collecting 3-4 a day in Riverview but in Sunset i'm lucky if I can even find one.

There is different criteria based on if you want to be abducted or visited.   Getting abducted can be increased with the use of a telescope and finding rocks.  I've had no issue getting some in Sunset Valley.  Did you already know the spawn locations for them?  There is always some between the stadium and the fishing spot.  If an alien visits a lot that's not your home lot, they could also drop some along the way.   By the Altos is a common spot for a large one and across the street down the hill from the Landgraabs is usually a few more.

I believe I read that alien toddlers can be given hair.  If you simply choose a hairstyle, is it automatically a particular color?  I'm wondering if the alien offspring are able to get hair color from the human parent or if it's always a generic color.

Aliens… like the giant meteors that came with Ambitions. Except they’re way cooler and they don’t kill Sims.
Something tells me I’d have to have my Sim at the telescope 24 hours a Sim-day trying to get one to pay a visit.
“When life gives you lemons, don’t make lemonade. Make life take the lemons back!” - Cave Johnson, Portal 2
“You ought to upgrade to Windows 7!”, they said. “It’ll help your games run so much better!”, they said. If I see them again, then they had better know how to stabilize an on-the-fritz copy of The Sims 3 that was working just fine on Windows XP.

My toddler's hair was the same pale green as his skin.
