Well, it must not be that rare haha. I was trying to figure out why my dude had been out in the cold without getting cold, so than I remembered needs static was on.  So I turned it off and had him continue making snowmen. All of a sudden, he gets this weird interaction, so I paused it and it said something like checking out mysterious happenings, I can't remember exactly but something like that. Anyways, these lights started flashing.

Than I saw a UFO lol, it sucked him up!

A couple hours later he reappeared beside an alien.

Here is a closeup of uh him? her? it!!

Than it got into the UFO and flew away.

He acted like he was going to puke.

But he didn't. He had a moodlet that said "Abducted!" "Cedrick can't help but feel a little...probed. What happened up there??" It was -12 for 10 hours. I thought after the 10 hours the baby might come, but it didn't. So far he is not acting pregnant, no nauseous, baby bump or anything. I guess I gotta keep playing to see if he is.

Ok, he obviously didn't get impregnated as it's been more than 3 days later, so I'm giving up snowmen for awhile and am going to get a telescope. Hopefully it happens again.

He got abducted again. I got a closer pic of the alien, I'm not sure if it's the same one or not.

Both times occurred right after I put needs dynamic, so I'm not sure if they don't abduct with needs static. I'll have to run more tests lol.

Awesome news!! I caught one!! Lol, after I put the fence and gate up, I heard a weird noise, looked around and there is an alien outside the gate!! He went over and chatted it up, and asked it to move in. It did!! Why I say it, I'm not sure what gender it is. It's name is Zuvihac Vajjevoo. It's an elder at 77 days old. It has level 10 logic and 7 handiness.

And this happened with needs static, so I guess the other 2 times were a coincidence.

Lol I know! I closed the game for now, I need some sleep lol. But as soon as I open it again, I'm going to give it young again, than try for baby? Haha I don't know that my sim is the right gender, but if not I'll kidnap a female lol. Yes they are Audren!!

Amazing found Esther! One day in and you have gotten so far already!
In what does the alien change compared to the sim? And I sms't not only talking about physical appearance but her voice, special alien abilities, needs, do they have a different kind of colour? Does she has the same needs? I guess she has, as I assume she is biologically but you never know.
Does she eat regular sims food? Does she lives longer than normal sims?

And... other can be your sim had been shorter away than it looks for you. I assume these UFO's are fast so it is pretty possible that three days gone on SimEarth means 3 minutes gone for his feeling. Light speed and all that.
Next time he get abducted, do you mind taking a close look at how old he is before being abducted and how old he is when he returned? My theory could be right or wrong.

If you're not sure of the alien's gender, try going to the wardrobe and seeing if it's possible to put them in a dress. I'm placing my bets on yours being male.

Ok so Artie married Agnes to confirm a bug fix and they moved in Christopher so he could use the online dating tool.   I have Artie and Agnes at the telescope 24 hours a day.  They've both been abducted once and I was hoping they'd both come back pregnant.   This last time that the alien appeared.   Chris was the one that was abducted not just the two using the telescope.  He was the closest to where they appeared so this means that any member of a household can be taken.
