I'm enjoying Seasons quite a bit now that I've finally installed it.  I was first shocked to see a bright summer day at only about 80 degrees.  Where I live, a summer day is more like 105 degrees.  Then the rains started coming.  Oh, they are so lovely!  I love rain and thunderstorms in real life anyway, so these are like a big treat to me.  Then I noticed that it rains a lot.  I'm now in the fall season and it has rained absolutely every day and I don't really like to send my Sims out in the rain.  Once again, this is so much different from where I live.  We get thunderstorms every two or three months.  Every day?!?  Each day I plan that my Sims will go to the festival the next day and, sure enough, it starts raining again.  It's just funny and nothing like I'm used to.  :D

Pam, you sound like you live near me. Summer his 115 this year over here. Little rain.

But I love the rain in the Sims. I grew up in a rainy climate and miss it. The only part I dont' like is that it seems to rain on the summer, spring, and fall holidays. I didn't send my kids out to collect Easter eggs because one was germy.

The atmosphere changes are so nice. Foggy mornings and cloudy days look really nice in Hidden Springs where my main Legacy family resides.

Wow! Sunlit Tides looks awesome in winter! Even if it's not supposed to snow there. With the sunset...wow again!

I absolutely love this EP and I'm only played the Summer season yet! My favorite so far is listening to the rain and thunder, just like in real life. :D
You've played too much TS3 when ... your 13 month old's babble sounds like Simlish!

I'm excited and impressed by all the little details they got right--the ripples in the water trough when it rains, the way Sims' and animals' breath fogs in the cold, the fact that the sun sets much earlier in the winter, the way seasons change gradually rather than all at once. It does seem as if there is a LOT of precipitation, however. I've got the lifespans set to "long" and the seasons set to 12 days. My Sim has been a teenager for two weeks and has been to high school for exactly one day--the other nine weekdays were snow days! I could see how that might pose a problem for challenges in which a child or teen has to get on the honor roll--that might be hard to do if they're never in school!

I have to say, I really think this is one of the best expansion packs. The towns just feel so much more complete and authentic with changing seasons and weather.

I think my only complaint about Seasons (and it's hardly a complaint at all) is that it's going to be very difficult to get a Perfect Garden, or manage the Dynasty requirements of Life Fruit, or money trees.  I haven't actually tried to grow them indoors yet, but I have seen others' comments saying that they do go dormant.  However those planter boxes aren't cheap.  :)  It'll just have to be another dimension to the challenge.  One of these days I'll get my dynasty going and keep at it. LOL

Over all, I am loving it, and told my friend that only has the base game that if she decides to buy an expansion, this is the one I'd suggest.  It just enriches the game so much for me.

Life fruit won't be as big of an issue as death fish, but with trees only growing outside, gardening income is definitely down.

I wonder if the frequent rain/snow is intentional. I had maybe two dry days in both summer and fall, and now it's snowing nonstop. I do love snow, mind, but the rain gets annoying because umbrellas or no, my Sims constantly get soaked.

I've been getting lots of rainy days too, but I'm odd and have always loved rain and fog. I do get disappointed when it rains on leisure days and there is nobody at the festival grounds but the paparazzi (argh! I'll never remember to uninstall Late Night before starting my game).

I'm still enjoying Season a lot, it's the only expension I bought the day it was released. The only thing that's wearing off its charm for me is the constant calls for dates and love letters.

I love Seasons, even though I seem to be having a few glitches. I like the rain a lot. When I first saw a puddle in my yard I thought, Wow, how many people peed in my yard? :o
The festivals are awesome because your sims can buy new food I've never seen before from the vendors, like funnel cake  ;D
I did the festivals in Moonlight Falls, but there doesn't ever seem to be anyone there besides vendors. Sometimes there will be a stray sim, but usually there's no one.
Oh and I got to meet an alien. She was a contradicting alien, unemployed and a Workaholic  :o

I am in love with Seasons. The only downside is that it rains too much in summer. In the fall I understand but in the summer there's no need for rain. Of course there should one or two days of light rain but when the whole summer passes with rain it's not fun. Personally I'm not too bothered by the new attraction system. I also wish that we could choose which season to start from... I haven't even been able to play winter yet!

Use the testingcheatsenabled true cheat and then shift click the ground on your home lot - there's a Seasons... options there that allows:

Change Season...
Trees...
Override Wind Intensity...
Set Snow Level...
Change Weather To...
Set Temperature
Unset Temperature

You want Change Season.  Give the game a day to make the swap.

Anybody else been having problems with things happening in Seasons that they shouldn't be happening in? For example, I get heaps of hail in Summer, snow in Fall and Trick-or-Treaters in Spring!

Summer wasn't so bad, was suprised at the low temps, but when Fall came, I was feed up with the rain and really cold temps.  Fall should have temps in the 50s-60s day and mid 30s-40s nights.
Instead I was getting temps in the much lower temps, can't remember right now what they were, but 20s at night?  The trees were bare of leaves, which I expected.
Then, in another game, where I started with Winter I had fall temps, 60s day and 30/40s at night.  The trees had leaves and the kid was wearing light weight clohes and no chill moodlet, he was raking leaves and the tree was still covered and I have had hail, no snow so far.  Just a couple of days in but I have mine set for 7 days winter so I expected much colder weather and lots of snow.
