Does anyone know where the Seasons decals show up?  I don't see them in "wall decor" or "Misc. decor" which are the only two logical locations, imo.

I was also very happy to see a new house theme in the blueprints section. A lovely little log cabin  :)

Someone asked that, and I believe the answer is miscelanious entertainment (can't spell today). Although you can just seperate by collections, click on the Seasons section and go searching there.

Okay, thank you. I'll go looking again :)

Right now I'm playing 7 days for each season. I tried three, but that's a little to short, You have the festival and the holiday, that just doesn't work. I haven't tried any longer than 7 days.

What I like is that I can set the lenght of days for each season.  So, three for winter and highest for Spring and Fall in the middle for Summer.

I have seen more festive stuff for Fall, taking pictures, and something else, can't remember, but I did notice that there were more booths set up.

Mine too.  I feel like that happens with every expansion until a new patch comes out.

I just finished summer and I love it. The rain look so awesome! The festival are a lot of fun, the eating contest are hilarious. ;D
I'm busy playing fall and the leaves on the ground and the changing of the trees look beautiful. I can't wait for winter!

Well, today I spent a few days playing Summer. And let me say, I was mildly impressed.

The only bad thing I've seen thus far (other than a bit of lag) was the fact it's been hailing non-stop for the past few days (in Summer!) which was sad.

But, on the turnaround, I noticed the little things. You know - the small ripples on a pool when it rains, the fact that hail actually bounces off the ground when it hails, the fact that the sea seemed choppier in rain. I haven't had a chance to test it more thoroughly (rain puts a damper on a Sim's plans :P) but from what I've seen so far, EA really got this expansion right.

I'm wondering if anybody has had a 'Leisure Day' yet. Is it basically just a day off? And is it in every season (I've only played Summer so far)? I hope this doesn't cause too many problems with kids getting on the honor roll for dynasties!

I only got the popup notification, but I think Leisure Days are only in Summer. Summer for me is only a week long (default, as far as I know), so it shouldn't affect Honor Roll too much.

Every season gets 1 Holiday. So it's okay for the sims in school or at work.

Leisure day doesn't have any special interactions other than the same as other holidays, where sims don't have to work or go to school.  On the two I played, I took the family to the park for the festival, and also for a dip in the ocean at one of the beaches.  Sims roll a lot of wishes to throw pool parties on this day, though, and they may get an invite to one.

I finally started playing today, a fresh game in Moonlight Falls. It's my first game for both Seasons and Supernatural, and love it so far. The festival grounds are rather cute, picking and selling wildflowers made me some much-needed early money, and the weather effects are well done. I love the sound of thunder and rain, it's soothing. My only quibble is that it rained a bit too much -- I set the season length to 10 days, played six days of summer, and it was constantly pouring down for most of that time. Now if I get as much snow in winter, I'll be overjoyed.

There are quite a few new patterns, which is great, and the new clothing is quite good too. I'm less impressed with the hairstyles: no new short hair for women. All the cap and headband styles have long hair.
