There will only ever be 30 in the world at any given time.
There is a 25% chance that they will spawn from an insect, rock/gem/metal or seed spawner.
The minimum temperature at which a Wildflower will spawn is 30. No idea if this is Celsius or Fahrenheit.
All wildflowers have a base lifespan of 5 days. I don't know if this is in total or if this is in the wild. Going to find out soon.
Can you set the temps in any way at all? Say, playing in a tropical region or a desert region...where it should be hotter and maybe no snow in the winter? Looking at the pic Carl has on the summer page, the temps are very mild but the sims in the pics below it are acting like they are in a tropical heatwave. Anything 70-80's isn't really hot unless there is a lot of humidity. Hot would be in the 90-100+ range. I keep my AC at about 77 in the summer and i'm not dying of heatstroke or bursting into flames. I'm kind of iffy on this ep from what i've seen so far.
No the only choices you have to change are what seasons will you allow, how long they will last and what inclement weather you want. You can choose to turn off rain, hail, snow & fog.
