Making repeatable patters in CAP

I read somewhere that you get get a program or plug-in that helps make it so that your patterns repeat properly. Could someone post a link please? Or, if there is already a function in Photoshop (CS3) tell me how to do it? I have some pictures that I would like to make into patterns (if I can get it working!).

I'm nut sure about CAP plugins, but there is this way of making patterns that uses photoshop and another program to make proper patterns.
