Whoa, nice house. How much is it worth, furnished, and how far into the game did you build it?

I love rebuilding my legacy house or even adding on to it. I had to add another bedroom and bathroom to my legacy house yesterday and when the new rooms go in, I just love the feel of it. When my sims get new stuff, I too get a +20 moodlet too!  

It does feel nice to furnish and remodel as needs change. I don't know how much it's worth, but my second generation kids are still in cribs and lifespan is on long. The second story is unfurnished except for the time machine.

I'd love to see other legacy floorplans or solutions to living space.

Do you have each family only have one child?
If you have more than one child in a family, do you only select one child to keep playing?
If you play multiple children after the parents are gone, doesn't that get a bit tricky?

The Random Wishmasters challenge has made me wonder whether anyone's played a legacy using a randomly-generated founder. If so, I'd be interested in how it turned out.

I rolled one just to see...not sure how well a Loser would do as a Founder.

Unless the rest of the traits overroad the Loser trait (Ambitious, Workaholic, even Family Oriented)  though... what is the opposite of Loser? - Friendly?

My legacy family had a lot of kids in every generation.  I would move some of them out, but the house was pretty much always full.  Many times, I had to wait for a death before I could bring in the next generation.  The good part of it was that everyone had a role to fulfill.  One would be the gardener (it was a huge garden), one would be the cook, one would have the babies, etc.  It got tricky, for sure.  But it was a great dynasty.

I would usually have 2-3 kids per generation.  I would always leave 2 siblings in the house, and then boot out the extras.  One of the siblings would marry and have kids, the other would do whatever they needed to do to accomplish their LTW.  Sometimes I'd boot the "spare" at that point, or I'd just keep them around to help with child care or whatever.

I normally have 2 - 3 children in any sims family, the highest I have gone is 6, I kick out spares. I have an Heir poll on who stays and sometimes the spares may stay and help out or complete LTW with me.

Pam do you have your legacy blogged anywhere?  I am so curious to see your family. 

Also, is there posted anywhere on this forum for how you roll for careers, etc.  Since there are so many more now, the old rules we used for Sims2 would never work now.  Then there are Lifetime wishes, etc.  I don't know where to ask that question so here it is!  LOL

Wow, that's really awesome. One time I started out with parents who had 2 kids, then I had both kids get married. One of them had 2 kids of their own the other had one. At that point it was way too much for me haha.


I'm not good at kicking sims out. I get too attached to all of my sims hahaha.
