Building Contest 2012: 22 - Rabbitholes Revealed

Your Task:
The Rabbitholes in our Sims' towns are nice, they just lack interaction. It has been a long standing dream of the watchers to be finally able to watch within the houses of work. Now we will partially fulfill that dream by building our own. Pick a Rabbithole, any Rabbithole and build its shell, build its interior and design it how you think it would be inside. Our Rabbitholes will not only look good but they will still retain their original functions and provide a place of work. Create a basement and use moveobjects to place the rabbithole in the basement, invisible from above but fully functional.

I'm not sure I understand how to do this. Is there a quick and easy tutorial on putting rabbit holes in basements? Or can someone just explain the steps involved? Does it need to be on a community lot as well? Never done this before..

There has been a change in the rules that allows you to build and take screenshots in any of the Official EA Store Worlds. You may not use the Content included in those Worlds however. The change in the rules is due to the fact that entries should not be judged on their surroundings but solely on the entry itself. Please continue to judge entries on what is on the lot and not behind the lot.

• Only FREE Store Items are allowed, the Items must be free during the time that the Contest is running and the poll is open.
  • Registration Rewards are allowed. Any promotional Content is banned, such as the T-Mobile Items or the Dr. Pepper Items.
  • Once a Store World becomes available in Retail Stores it's content may be used may be used. At this moment only Barnacle Bay and Hidden Springs are available in Stores.
  • You may still take screenshots and build in any Store Worlds as long as none of the content from them is used.

The Golden Dragon is built above the Bistro. The Bistro is in the basement and is in full operation. You can visit The Golden Dragon and have something to eat, drink or socialize with friends on the main floor. On the second floor there are washrooms, two sitting ares, bookshelf, piano and a dartboard. Plenty to do while socializing with friends.

Sunset Valley residents have been anticipating for the unveiling of the Divisadero Budget Books store. Now residents can hang out or read a book when wishing to add a book to their collections. The book store now has a staff room, for all the staff to relax in between their shifts. The Book store also includes parking, for all of the shoppers who are too lazy to walk!











Divisadero Budget Books is also suitable for children, with a corner dedicated to children's books.



The books store also has an area where children who do not wish to read, can play in a safe environment.



Divisadero Budget Books has a vast variety of books to choose from.





Not sure you want your book? Well take a seat on one of the comfortable couches or chairs, and read away.



And of course, a place for workers to relax before or after their shift. They may choose between playing games on the computer or watching some television. Teenagers may do their homework here before their shift, to avoid wasting time.

Global Dynamics

Content used:  I have all expansion and stuff pack, I have also been known to forget which ones I have used so on the safe side I will say all.
Store Content:  Only FREE and APPROVED store content has been used.

The bright light blinded Maddox and all she could hear was whooping.  Where had she ended up this time?!  As the light began to fade and her eyesight adjusted to her surroundings, she looked towards the whooping and found another scientist, not another one, she thought.  Although this one was quite attractive, in a red kinda way.  'Who are you? Where am I? And what am I doing here?'  Maddox demanded of the cute scientist.



'My name is Dr Ernest Fairbottom, you may call me Ernest. You are at a facility, Global Dynamics, in a remote location that unfortunately due to national security I cannot divulge the whereabouts but you are safe.'

'But what am I doing here?'  Maddox asked in a slightly flirty way.  'All in good time Maddox.  Come follow me I have much to show you and very little time in which to do it.'  At that he turned on his heel and walked from the room.  Maddox rushed to keep up with him. 

'This facility is the only one of it's kind.' Dr Ernest explained to Maddox as he took various twists and turns in the corridors. 



'We strive to find the best and brightest of our kind in the hopes that they will make new discoveries.  Here for example this room is full of the donated and caught spirits so that we can learn and discover what might come next.  Dr Jude is testing the compatibility between one type of spirit and another.'  He smile sultry at Maddox which made her blush crimson.



'This next room is my favourite, it houses all of the insects and butterflies that have been donated to us over the years.  I am currently working on a project that finds what attracts specific creatures to specific flowers.'  Did his eyes just glow or is Maddox imagining that he is flirting with her.  Well two can play this game.  'Oh, yes these are very interesting creatures, is it the scent that attracts them?' Maddox asked standing only inches from him.  He draws a deep intake of breathe through his nose and breaths 'Why yes, yes it is.'



They quickly move on to the rest of the facility.  'Dr Lowe is the local Potions expert, although one does elude him.'  They leave the room and as the door closes there is a huge bang followed by a very loud 'FIDDLESTICKS!'



'This is Professor Lateone, she is testing dimension jumps.'  Professor Lateone gives the Doctor a very flirty smile, which the Doctor returns with a friendly one, possibly not even aware of the flirtatiousness of Lateone.  Maddox feels strange all of a sudden, is this jealousy?! 'Would you like to try it, Maddox?  I assure you it's safe.' the Professor asks with an edge to her voice.  Not wanting to be out done, Maddox accepts the challenge. 



But soon regrets it as she is spun around all over the place.  She tumbles out of the bottom of the contraption.  Ernest picks her up and holds her close looking deeply into her eyes.  Is he going to kiss me? Maddox hopes.  'Come we have very little time left.'  Ernest says and lets go of her.



'This is our in door garden.  Our Herbologist Professor Leek, has such a way with plants that he can talk them back to life.'



'Whats down there?'  Maddox asked as they past the only elevator that they had yet to enter.  'That's Section Five, but it is special access and we are almost out of time.  I have one more place to show you.'

This is our inventing room and this is Henry.  Henry has just developed our own time machine.  It's a one of a kind, well only one of it's kind.'  Ernest said with a chuckle.



He looked at Maddox with such intensity that she held her breath.  'Maddox, this is where your journey really begins, through the portal wonders are waiting for you.  You must go now or everything will come crashing down around us.'

'But-'  Maddox began to protest but was cut off from a kiss from the Doctor.  Once it had finished she felt so energised that she could do anything.  'What awaits me on the other side?'



'You'll see.'  he said with a twinkle in is eye.  With that she jumped into the time machine, not knowing where she would end up.
