Recipes for crocodile?
« on: June 20, 2010, 11:51:17 AM »
I have several crocs in my fridge and I keep getting this wish thing to make a dish containing crocodile.  Yet none of the books stores in the three foreign lands contain a recipe for this dish.  Anyone know where I can obtain one?  Or how?

I'm guessing crocs are counted as fishes, so maybe the recipe for dim sum will work?

Check here in Carl's guide for it.

Crocodile are considered fish for recipes.  Just like when you get a wish to cook a dish with a particular kind of fish and you have to clear out everything but that one kind of fish, you have to do the same for crocodile.

Arrrrrgggghhh!  Say it isn't so!  My fridge is chock full of all kinds of fish!  So I'd have to take them all out except the croc?  No worries, there will be zero crock meals at chez la Malenkova, but thanks for the answer!

I usually cancel the wishes to make a meal from a specific fish.  It's just not worth the trouble.  I usually have lots of fish in the refrigerator, too, and I'm sure not going to get rid of them just to make crocodile fish and chips.

Or, you put the croc in your inventory only (no other fish) and proceed to cook.  The game checks your inventory before using the fridge, even if you click the fridge to cook.

You should make stew surprise. That way you are not able to see what's in it, just like a hotdog...

You prefer frog legs or snails to eat than? ;)
I wonder how many recipes there actually are for crocodiles.

I like frog legs, but I couldn't make myself eat crocodile legs...

EDIT: There are restaurants that serve crocodile in wine sauce...

I like your food choice Schipperke. I've a huge respect for vegetarian people. ;)
To bad my sims are all canibals.

I actually was surprised that EA decided to put the opportunity ingame to actually hang a stuffed crocodile on the wall. In real life that is considered as animal cruelty.

Which cook level does your sims have to have to prepare crocodiles? Not that I want them to eat that, but I'm just curious.
