I threw a party last night and all the guests brought pot-luck! The dining room table was full of food, even though I had the banquet table out back.

Also seemed like everyone was attracted to everyone else. Tons of "I'd like to get to know you better. Next morning my newly aged elder Sim got a bunch of phone calls to go out on dates. He's married and eternally faithful (or some such). That annoyed me a bit.

Before Late Night, I always had people come over with food at a party.  Good to know they're all doing it again.

Just wondering, does the wedding bug still happen if you ask the potential sim to move in first then have the wedding?

Also if anone knows whether gardening is working properly again then that'd be great too.

There is a problem with resetting while doing it depending on if you use romantic action or if you use arch.  I'm testing a new couple again right now to double check the exact issues.

My game launcher wont allow me to get the update it just says...
" No updates available" Even when i refresh it and switch it off and on again it says the same thing, when I had to get the supernatural patch, I had to manually download it, from a website but I cant remember which one. Can someone please help me?

Disable memories does seem to be working -- one of my sims went fishing for the first time and caught a few things -- no pop-ups, no memories.

The attraction system explains a couple of odd pop-ups I've seen.

Some new patterns in the themed section, too -- snowflakes, leaves, birch tree trunks, and large and small fruits.

Really sorry to hear that you can't move in after a wedding -- hope we get a work-around for dynasties.

I'm looking forward to this patch - EP patches have, in my experience, added in most coding for the EP - I was able to see that faeries' lives were 5 times longer in SN when the patch came out.

About weddings: I'm going to either hold off on the patch, or backup my Dynasty and patch, then not play the Dynasty until I can test it myself.

This is also the first patch I've had while I was using CC. Do I have to reinstall my CC (meshes, not mods), and if so, do I have to resetsim * beforehand?

Meshes should still work fine after a patch. Broken weddings? Guess I'm not playing my dynasty today then.

As of this moment, Metro & I are telling people who play Townie Decadynasties to hold off on patching until we can figure out a solution/or a fix comes.

However, since you can move in people before and after the marriage - this is not a problem for Immortal Dynasties or Life States Dynasties.    This is only a problem for the Townie DecaDynasty.

Are you logged on to origin? I have to be logged into both for my patches to download.

Nope, your CC can stay put and no resetting is required. Well, that's how I do it and nothing has exploded on me yet. :P

Oh, Sarah beat me to it. She's right too.

Also, I noticed this:



Soccer doesn't come in the patch, unless I missed something, but my sims are still being judged for it. And it's tied to the athletic skill (obviously).

Meteors are being affected too.
When you have your sim collect the gems, metal and meteors, the "analyze" doesn't work on the meteors anymore.

BTW, the Wolff household is still the same. The kids are still kids and its week 3 day 6. So it looks like the aging isn't fixed yet.

I get the feeling that EA was spying on other mods and tried to create their own. I have in my game (haven't patched yet) and autonomous romance mod from flirting to break-up. I have not experienced any of the stuff you guys are talking about, in regards to marriages with no move-ins, etc. I'm very leary of taking this patch. I'll watch my modders sites and see if they can fix the EA fiasco, before downloading the patch.

One thing I have learned over the years is you never patch right after it's available.  (unless it's a game where you have no choice).   I always wait a week or two and check the forums for complaints to see what was broken or whatever.  Most likely won't patch until Seasons is released or the mods I use are all updated.  I see another patch coming soon! :'(

I don't know if it's connected but my game is refusing to save and one of my usual tricks are working. The difference (I've narrowed it way down, saving a tiny chunk at a time to see what saves) is that the wedding venue party started. It's an Error 12, maybe I just invited too many people--it was the max number of guests--I don't know what's going on but I am frustrated because I can't play my dynasty.

That explains why I couldn't get my sims to analyze the rocks she had picked up. 

The garden problem hasn't been fixed, just checked it out in my garden family in RV; they still stop after the first plant harvested, even though I had clicked on five.

Is anyone else having this problem?  In a new game that I started the memories box is popping up telling me my sims has a "naughty" reputation, or a sim walking up to one of my sims and tell the sim that their signs are compatible and they are going to be perfect for each other.  The stupid fairy asked my sim, who is married, to marry him.  This was just after he let the thief escape again.  I think I am going to curse that fairy.   >:(  Both of my sims had negative moodlets from being robbed when all he did was go in the back door, go straight though the house, open the front door and the alarm goes off.  Five doors, four alarms two inside and two out, he picks the one without an alarm. 


Wish now I hadn't downloaded the patch, from now on I am going to wait to do so. 
 :(
