Problem with Thief Salary

I have a thief Sim who earns around 150 Simoleons per hour but only ends up earning 263 Simoleons a day. Is there any way to fix this?

Have you noticed how many hours she actually spends at work or does she have the bug where she is "going to work" until about midnight and then it registers she's there?  They don't actually start getting salary until they are "Working" but there is a weird bug with careers that have overnight hours.
